Excellent location just 2 miles outside the entry to Yosemite. Wonderful Merced River just outside our room with balcony. Even enjoyed Andirondak rocking chairs at the river as we watched the sunset and again the sunrise the next morning! Cant wait to go back! Magical experience in Yosemite!

It's super close to the NP entrance, the rooms are big, and having a kitchenette is a nice bonus. It’s a bit on the older side, but I’d definitely come back again.

The lodge was a great place to stay. We stayed in a loft room which had been renovated. There were lots of outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy the scenery and River, which was full due to spring snow melt. Also plenty to do. There were 3 pools, several hot tubs, game room, which we enjoyed every evening, a store and two great places to eat. We very much enjoyed our week there.

Gorgeous property on the river so close to Yosemite!. Quiet and clean. Spacious, clean rooms with good size fridge in kitchenette. We did wine w snacks on the patio with the river to view. The multiple pools were clean and uncrowded. The heated indoor pool was lovely after a long day at Yosemite. A must stay place for Yosemite.

We didn’t like that the pizza is served in the box and that you charge extra for a second trip to a very modest salad bar with a very small plate. Room was clean and the view was great, but I feel dining options can be enhanced for the cost of the room.

Very convenient to the El Portal entrance to the park. Our room overlooking the river was spacious, clean and comfortable. The River Restaurant had a good breakfast and dinner. We also ate at the pizza place one evening and it was good as well. We enjoyed our stay there.

I loved the river rushing behind the property! I intended to leave the door open to sleep to the sound of the river, UNTIL a giant mosquito came in! The food is disgraceful. Such a lovely lodge owes the guests a far better menu.
