What was unique about the property? Expected something better from a Wyndham sub-brand. The bed may be new but there were dead bugs on the floor, torn curtain, only 2 bath and 1 hand towel for 2 people, 1 small bar of soap, broken double lick and missing chain on the door, AC unit kept making noise. Picked it due to proximity to the highway. Try the Comfort Inn next door.

The room was nicely equipped and the bed was comfortable. Nice tv, microwave and small fridge as well as ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Good amount of parking. The outside hallways downstairs were dirty. The breakfast is coffee, juice and apples

We did not stay at this hotel. The room was musty and not clean. The windows were dirty, flies were smashed on the window, the door was dirty, and the bathroom was not clean. Overall, this place is unacceptable.

Went to check-in and was told that my reservation was cancelled. I showed them the confirmation number and text message that I received. When I finally got into my room and started to unpack, a roach came running across the floor. Went to front desk and they moved me into another room which also had a roach in the bathroom. No apology or adjustment on the bill, just an explanation that the roaches are coming from the drains because the exterminator just sprayed the laundry room.

When we booked the reservation was for 5 people. The room was supposed to have two beds and a sleeper sofa. The room only had two double beds, when I asked I was informed that is all they have. The refrigerator was discussing and there was no breakfast as advertised. Will never stay here again.

Nothing was good about the place because I didn't booked it, they owed $463.91. I sent emails and called numerous of times before and can't get through to cancelled with the hotel.now the time is over and now the hotel picking the phone calls, I'm taking them to court immediately!!! They're scammers and doing fraudulent activity on my bank card that I have on file through my account on Expedia. I think they're family connections with Expedia booking. I didn't booked here and didn't know anything about Day Inn By Wyndham Of Elizabeth City NC. I never heard of this low down comments kinda of a place to stay at. I didn't okay this booking while booked online. Pay me my money... Senior awareness of scammers.

Ok place to stay

Beds are ok, rooms definitely need upgrade. Sheets had spots on them. Can see water damage in ceiling they just patched and painted over. Had a service dog and wanted his "certificate" or id card. Had to explain all this is not needed. But for the price and a quick stay was ok.

Shady people

I was very unhappy when i called to check out and they said they had been paid by the people staying there and would not refund my money. So essentially they were paid twice and someone pocketed the money or they lied about getting the money.
