Step out your door and walk into Rich Mountain Wilderness--over 13,000 acres for you to discover. Or just sit back and enjoy all the luxuries of the cabin itself -and don't forget about soaking in the hot tub! Numerous Hiking trails nearby --AT and BMT being the most well known. Book this cabin if you are looking for quiet, serenity, and seclusion. It is WAY off the beatin path so expect a 20 minute drive to get to amenities or stores. When you arrive all you hear is a babbling creek and breeze through the trees. The cabin itself was very well stocked with everything you’d need. The furnishings were sufficient and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept on in a VRBO. I was surprised to find that the bedroom and bathroom are downstairs. Upstairs is a reading book and a locked door which I assume were the owner’s personal belongings. The downstairs was plenty large enough for my wife and I to relax. The fireplace is wood burning not gas, so be prepared for a slight fireplace smell in the cabin. It’s not off putting, but just present. Overall it was a fantastic relaxing weekend miles from anywhere.

Hostess was great with communication and directions. Cabin was exactly as portrayed. Bed was very comfortable and the whole cabin was well appointed. Loved the fact that in whole time we stayed at the cabin we only saw one vehicle pass by on the road. That’s exactly what we call secluded.

We had an amazing stay at Oliver Creek Cabin! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The bed was very comfortable and the linens were very clean.
