Downtown restaurants within a short walking distance include the highly rated Provender Kitchen, Finns Irish Pub, Airline Brewing, Fogtown Beer Garden, Margaritas, Union River Lobster House and Serendib. John Edwards Market is just a block away for a great assortment of wine and cheeses as well as grocery needs. Downtown has become known in the area for its eclectic mix of shops with something for everyone. Walking distance to the harbor and library. Downtown Ellsworth is conveniently located in the center of the areas best attractions such as Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Lamoine and Surry to name a few.
