Great place to stay!

The hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable but the best part was the staff. Enel, at the front desk’ was very helpful when dealing with a third part booking issue. He also gave great restaurant recommendations. The waiter in the restaurant gave great service and Jon in the bar did as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Someone set the smoke alarm off in the middle of the night and we were not compensated. It was a neglect on someone’s part staying. But was a real inconvenience with an infant.

Check in was pretty easy. We were given a room in an adjacent building which felt strange because it almost seemed like it wasnt part of the property. I had read reviews about the property and people kept mentioning doors being heavy to open. If you are going to stay here know that in the adjacent building the doors to enter the building are kind of old and heavy to open as well as the door in the hallway so i could see how if you were older it could present a problem. The hallway floor seemed a litttle worn and with it came a certain smell that you would not expect after paying almost 400 dollars for our hotel stay. Once entering the room itself it was a nice size room but once again the room carried an old smell and the area by the fridge in the room smelled like pee. The outside area to lounge had cobwebs indicating that they were seldom cleaned if at all. To be honest this hotel stay was not the best for things that could be easily changed. First hire more cleaning staff do vacuum ,deodorize and clean the rooms and hallways. It would improve guest experience exponentially. Just because a building is old doesnt mean it should or has to smell old right?? The elevator in the adjacent building also from what we were told was not working so if you had a room on the second floor you were screwed. The best things about the hiotel was the helpful front desk staff who gave me suggestions for points of interest around town. Ask to use the offsite gym its nice.Walkable places to eat

Fix the heavy industrial door closer!!!

Hotel itself was beautiful when you walk inside. We were in the adjoining building across the walkway. Kinda felt like that part of the hotel is forgotten about in a way - not very clean when you first walk in. We had a room right inside the large heavy metal door, all night the door slammed as people entered and exited our side of the building, resulting in no sleep. We brought it up to the front desk where the gentleman said "I put a sign to be mindful". The room itself was pretty clean on the surface but needs a good deep cleaning. Stay was decent besides the room location and being woken up all throughout the night. If they could get the door to not slam shut the room would be so much better!
