Come unwind at Moonlit Dunes! Our single family home (NOT a duplex) offers unparalleled beachfront privacy with a backyard pool surrounded by trees. Come and enjoy a beachfront oasis. Perfect for multigenerational family gatherings (no events), fishing trips, or a getaway with friends, this newly expanded 6-bedroom, 5.5-bath home is designed for relaxation and adventure. 7 night minimum during the high season w/ Saturday check-in/out (mid March thru mid September.) 4 night minimum off season.

Start your mornings with panoramic ocean views from the partially covered deck, complete with a swing and plenty of seating. The well-equipped kitchen features an island (seats 2), an oversized pantry, and all the essentials to make cooking a breeze. A large dining table (seats 8) and breakfast bar (seats 3) create the perfect setting for meals and game nights. The downstairs living room offers an additional spacious living room for relaxation and another large table for game night (seats 10).

The spacious backyard features a private pool (heating available for an extra fee) with lounge chairs, a gas grill, and lush trees for added seclusion—creating an ideal space to spend quality time together. Direct beach access through the backyard gate. There you will a beach perfect for fishing, swimming, or witnessing The Point's breathtaking sunrises and sunsets.

Inside Our 3,600 Sq. Ft. Home
The upper level boasts OCEAN VIEWS from the main living areas (kitchen, dining, and living room) and two bedrooms. The lower level has 2 bedrooms with attached baths and a large bunk room. Additionally, the downstair also boasts a large living room with smart tv, sectional couch and a large table for game nights (seats 10).

Upper Level:
Bedroom 1 – Primary Suite: King bed with OCEAN VIEW, private bathroom (shower & soaking tub), walk-in closet, and dedicated workspace.

Bedroom 2: Queen bed with OCEAN VIEW.

Bedroom 3: King bed.

Lower Level:
Bedroom 4: King bed with private bathroom.

Bedroom 5: King bed with private bathroom.

Bedroom 6 – Bunk Room: Three full beds (bottom) and three twin beds (top).

A large deck overlooks the private swimming pool (heated upon request for an additional fee). After a day at the beach, rinse off at the foot wash station, or enjoy the full outdoor shower (private.) If you’ve had a successful fishing trip, an outdoor sink is available for cleaning your catch.

For added convenience, our home includes a laundry room with a washer/dryer and high-speed WiFi. Smart TVs are available in all bedrooms and living areas, so you can unwind with your favorite shows or sporting events.

Private sanctuary

This place is amazing! The house is spacious and well appointed, the huge back deck was wonderful to sit and take in the view. The beach is a 2 min stroll through the dunes, so fun, then you emerge onto the expanse of sand that is the beach (HUGE) which we had essentially entirely to ourselves. It was just a couple of nights but it felt longer, we were able to really relax and leave it all behind. We are already planing to come back in the Summer for a full week. Such a great vibe!

Perfect end of summer stay

Our family spent 5 nights at the property in the end of August. We were welcomed by a colorful facade and the back doors opened to the great outdoors. Deer, bunnies, squirrels among the fire pit and all a view from the sprawling back porch. Beyond the backyard were the dunes which led to the gorgeous beaches of Emerald Isle. This oceanfront property allowed us to be spoiled and still feel at home. It came with every amenity, when you’re normally worrying about bringing ziplocs and paper towels, it was stocked with everything from a salad spinner to keurig pods and margarita glasses. The bathrooms and bedrooms were comfortable and homey, updated and had a fun beach feel. The closets were spacious and kid’s room a relaxing retreat with 2 full beds bunked for extra space to play with their stocked puzzles and toys. Beds were comfortable and extra blankets were provided. The place has just recently been renovated, and the cleaning was wonderful. We usually have to wipe and pre-clean, but this has been thoughtfully prepared in every way. Spacious and light, allows for big meals and late nights on the back swing ! Thank you for this end of summer retreat!
