Ideal location near the beach and near downtown. Great prices. Helpful staff. It was not a modern building full of features, but we were there to enjoy Encinitas, and this hotel was a great base for exploration. There is superb food down the road, so the hotel offered just coffee and light items like oatmeal.

The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean. I love that there was a bathtub and the towels were fresh and fluffy. The bed was super comfortable and I enjoyed using the desk so that I could do my schoolwork. What I didn’t like is that there was no microwave, being a deluxe queen and all. I did like and enjoy that they had coffee and treats for the morning, so that was good. The coffee was delicious.

Due to the fact that the entire hotel is under renovation, it's not quite a 5 star experience, but they seem to be doing their best. Our room was brand new and very clean, though no coffee maker or iron was available for use. We only just slept there so it worked out fine for us. Great location and comfortable bed made it perfect for our stay in Encinitas while helping our daughter recover from surgery.
