Room was in fair condition considering its day rate, however water pressure and temperature need some serious improvement. Hotel restaurant prices are overpriced, very focused on clients coming with U.S. Dollars. If your trip is gold oriented, the green fee is really expensive considering lack of service in course, 18 holes and we never saw a drinks cart.

No kitchen ,no view, clean room We are residents at baja mar and have always brought family to stay when they come visit. (8-10 times in this year) We called and let them know that my son would not make it down from LA in time for his day of a 2night stay, this was 2 days before the event, I knew we had just missed the cut off date for no fee on cancelation by 1 day and asked politely if they would allow us the courtesies of not charging, they refused. We love this place and it has never been over booked in a year since we have lived here. I called, went in person and contacted the hotel via hotels .com and got no response. I think exceptions can be made, whatever. We probably will get a rollaway for our home next time we have family staying over.

We love Hacienda Bajamar for its peace and quiet. The property feels very safe, with beautiful ocean views as you drive in and well-kept grounds surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly, the restaurant food is excellent, and the rooms are spacious and clean with large towels and bottled water provided. Everything is dated — from the furniture and beds to the TVs, which only have a few channels, so bring a Roku or Fire Stick. The pool isn’t very inviting since it’s enclosed by walls, and the spa is small and simple, a bit overpriced but still decent. There’s no heating in the rooms, so pack a small heater during colder months. Despite these details, we keep coming back because it’s peaceful, quiet, and feels genuine. It’s not a luxury resort — more of a comfortable three-star hotel — but it’s clean, safe, and offers great value. A relaxing place to unwind away from the city.
