The hotels.com page has information that are misleading and some that are flat out a lie. The lie is a picture of a sauna. When I asked about it the front desk person was confused and mentioned that many people ask about it. They asked me to see the picture and when I showed to them, they try to talk to their coworkers “Did you see this?” And the guy who seemed to be the manager just said “Yep, no sauna. This is at LOGE Alta Crystal”. That’s a completely different property more than 8 miles away. The confusing and misleading part, is that this “Crystal Mountain Hotels” is not a single property but 3 different ones, Village Inn, Alpine Inn and Quicksilver Lodge. And this fact makes some of the other info in the hotel description a lie, depending on the building you stay. For example, our room was in the Village Inn which does not have a bar nor breakfast available, since these are located in the Alpine Inn. The rooms have somewhat of a hint to that in the titles but unless you’re aware of it, it’s hard to tell. These should be split in 3 separate properties with appropriate locations, descriptions and pictures. The room is very basic, the mattress is spring and not too thick, probably 8 inches, which makes it really stiff.

All the staff were very courteous and helpful. When booking through Expedia is not clear the exact location of the building so I had to walk 200 yards with my Ski gear then up the stairs to get to the ski lift. Whereas I could’ve booked a room with the same company right at the ski lift or 100 yards closer anyway. The drivers of the buses who come through the parking lot in between that hotel, and the ski lodge are ruthless and will run over you before thinking about it. And the parking lot attendance seem to favor the buses over the pedestrians. The front desk staff was amazing. The cleaning staff was amazing. Although when I first came into the corridor, there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning fluid to the point that it almost made me sick. The room was very nice and clean itself. The village Inn restaurant was excellent. The food was excellent. The service was excellent, but again I could’ve booked a room in the same building and just walked a few steps to the restaurant, but that information or choice was not given at booking.

I didn't realize this was an off-season ski resort when I booked a place near Mt. Rainier. It was fine. Anyone wanting easy access to the Sunrise area of the National Park would do well to stay here.

We stayed for 3 nights as we were visiting Rainier national park and it was very convenient for that. We had a very friendly and helpful welcome and generally the team members we spoke to during our stay were super helpful. The room had a nicely updated bathroom, but was otherwise a bit tired. Housekeeping had done a wonderful job making sure it was as clean as it could be, although long term stains in the carpet suggest it should have already been replaced. Bed was comfortable and we didn't have any problems with noise, but there weren't that many people staying. The breakfast offered was basic, but there was plenty. The team member on the first day was super organised and nothing ran out before it was replaced. Disappointing with someone else the following two days when we, and others, had to keep going to find them and ask for different things as they hadn't been put out, that individual definitely gave the impression they didn't care.

Awful experience. Day 1 power was off in the building they found us a temporary room for the night, day 2, back to the original room, other travelers decided to party very loudly until 4.30am in the morning. customers services is not always responsive on the phone so if you need something you need to walk or drive to the reception which is not in the same building. Rooms are outdated and expensive for what you get.

Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was accommodating with good food. Rooms were clean and the patio was lovely in the evenings and mornings. During a heat wave they felt hot and stuffy-bring a fan. A bit pricey for what you get, but the convenience makes it a solid choice.
