The rooms were clean and the front desk is open 24/7 which is really nice! The only problem is that there was a little bit of a weird smell at first and the tap in the bathtub was dripping when we first went in. I only stayed for one night so I can’t say much… The breakfast was not as bad as I thought for the price I payed for my room.

First impression was poor. Property is very run down. Not at all how the pictures on the website look. All photos must have been "Photo Shopped". All the entrance doors are broken, unsecure and unmarked in the back of the property. The front door was also broken and had no auto-open option. The room was small with stained chair. Bathroom was clean but dingy. TV didn't work. The halls were VERY Noisy. Signage to help find your way, was almost non-existent. Website says "free breakfast" - not mentioned at check-in, and no breakfast available next morning. I won't be back. Property is Not to Wyndham standards. There are many more options in the area around the same price range.

The cleanliness of the room was unsatisfactory, with the housekeeping staff failing to provide towels or remove trash. Furthermore, the bathwater exhibited discoloration of brown water.The only positive aspect of the stay was the pool.

Hotel was clean and safe but could use some upgrades. Bathroom counter was very low/short; shower and toilet could be upgraded as well. Facility was very full and a lot of movement/commotion in the area and halls. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s an OK place for a one night stay.

One of the worst. Stay clear * UNDAFE. Outside doors all unlocked and many broken. Zero security. Anyone can enter. Did not feel safe * properly a mess and not kept up. Broken sidewalk and parking lot. Rusted roof and metal walls * interior was not upkeep. Rusted stairs and hand rails. Hallways not clean. * Rooms less than standard. Two dingy towels. Furniture chipped. Bathroom not updated. No toilet paper holder (just a roll sitting on counter. * mattress was too soft and bed frame creaky * no breakfast as advertised * bare minimum done possibly Stay away and book somewhere else

The toilet seat was not noted to the toilet. The bathroom ceiling was full of rust. The marijuana smell was so strong I tested positive today for weed and never smoked it. No coffee. The staff did not speak English at all. I am afraid that we have brought bed bugs home. So happy I did not take my dog he would have flees. PS it’s a holidayinn not an apartment. Also it smelled like a dead possum. The pictures do not do justice. It should be condemned. I paid 160$ for a room that did not even have actual towels to get a shower. Also they do not !!!!! Help handicapped!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I witnessed it at the front desk. I would have stayed in the construction trail that was against it. It probably would have smelled better. My option it gets a complete 00000 star.

The hotel was a mixed experience. The check-in went well, the room was laid out well and was well appointed for the price. The breakfast was stout and a highlight of our stay. The downsides ... areas of the room were not particularly clean (bed / linens were fine) and there were dead stink bugs in the hallways. There were also some guests "hanging out" in the parking lot blaring music until after 11:00pm which was quite unsettling.

My pillows smelled like body odor, I brought one to the front desk. There was a pee spot on my linen - I took a pic. Someone must live across the hall from my room (123) because the door opened and closed constantly. The room 123 door would also make noise from them opening and closing. We wife refused to stay there the last day as I was leaving early. She felt sketched out by the smokers outside and the crazy tattoo people. I asked if there were refunds for the last day and they said no.

where do I start, first there was absolutely no security. Our room was in the back of the hotel. The hallways looked like something out of a horror movie. We couldn’t use one single towel because they were stained. also the so-called shower towels were literally the towels from the swimming pool with the blue stripe and they look like they’re about 30 years old! There was pubic hair still on the bathroom floor and the air conditioner didn’t stay on. There was also a blinking light outside of our room and the curtains didn’t cover the window all the way!!!

This Days Inn was $79 (affordable), in an area by itself (safe). Room was ok. Shower water was Hot. Bathroom ceiling very dirty/molded. The buildings are very run down. The gym was closed, the doors entering the buildings have no locks but that didn’t bother us given the location. The limited breakfast was actually sufficient with yogurt, boiled eggs, breakfast bars, juice and very weak coffee.

The pictures shown are only pictures of the very front of the property. The back of the 4 buildings were quite scary and felt unsafe to be in. Also the whole building and floors smelled of wet paint and bleach.

Disappointing Stay – Needs Major Improvements

I recently stayed at the Days Inn in Erie, PA, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. The property is extremely old and run down, with visible signs of neglect throughout. The rooms had a musty odor, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. To make matters worse, we encountered bugs in the room, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. The furniture and fixtures were outdated and in poor condition, and the atmosphere just didn’t feel clean or welcoming. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant renovations and improvements are made. There are definitely better options in the area for the same price range.
