Lake Erie Escape - Erie, PA

Escape the daily routine on the cliffs of Lake Erie! Located across the channel from Presque Isle Beach 11, the views are incredible! Guests will love the thoughtful amenities and beautiful neighborhood.

Built in 1938, this FLW- inspired ranch is a perfect gathering space. Grand family room wrapped in mahogany with soaring ceilings and space for everyone! The window from dining room provides an endless supply of living art with awesome views of the Great Lake. Guests will love the bright kitchen, well-stocked with espresso machine and Keurig coffees and kitchen basics. The kitchen opens up to a sprawling deck, professionally maintained lawn with automated sprinkler system. The house sits atop a very steep 80ā€™ cliff above Lake Erie, with no fence or barrier. We do not recommend allowing any young children (or wild adults) to play unattended in back yard.

Home has two full bathrooms fully stocked with fine shampoo/conditioners, soaps and linens. Three bedrooms with ultra comfortable beds, soft bedding and simple Lakeside decor. There is also a flexible room between family room and kitchen with access to the front porch. This space is great for working remote and a Queen pull-out sofa for extra sleeping options.

Located in a quiet residential neighborhood in Erie, PA. There is a public pavilion and beach- full of beach glass- just a short walk away at the corner of Lakeside and Chautauqua Blvd. It is an adventure to get down to the beach, along a rooted path, adding to its hidden gem allure! HOUSE RULES: Please count all visitors at time of booking.

Please respect the neighborhood and practice quiet time beginning at 10 pm. No smoking, vaping, pets or illegal activity - $500 fee.

This is an oasis of beauty in a part of town I never had reason to go to. The beds were comfortable. Owner was responsive. The area is very quiet. I enjoyed walking to the local beach and skipping stones with my son.

We stayed at the house for a couple days working in Erie. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the lake view was amazing. It was quiet there and what better way to end the evening then going back to the house and able to sit out on the deck to watch the sunset. The host was very easy to communicate with and the house was stocked with everything we needed. Highly suggested for your trip to Erie!!!

The host went above and beyond with supplies like coffee variety, creamers, soaps and essentials that you don't always get when traveling. We look forward to staying again another trip!

Lake Erie Escape home was everything we expected and more. Located in a great and safe neighborhood. The home was clean with an amazing view of Lake Erie. It was an opportunity to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our adult children and spouses. Plenty of room for all of us to be together to reminisce, play games and make new memories. My husband lived right around the corner when he was younger and he was friends with the family and their sons that lived in this house. So lots of stories about the neighborhood and surrounding community. When there was down time we were either on the patio or backyard enjoying the views. Coffee out every morning at a different location was enjoyed by all. Plenty to see and do either together or explored separately. Even with the air quality being off the views were amazing throughout our stay. We really enjoyed reading the history of the home that was provided by the host. This home speaks volumes of the past and the future. We definitely would recommend staying at this property. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful home.
