Nice hotel for the price, would stay again

The hotel was great and not too bad for the price. It was clean and the hotel staff was friendly. The only bad thing is that you have to climb stairs to get to the hotel which can be hard for disabled or people with luggage to carry.

Tired and overpriced

There is absolutely nothing "Boutique" about this hotel. Tired, tiny rooms uncomfortable bed. Massively overpriced at 200EUR per night, plus 19EUR for a continetal breakfast. Only plus point is th elocation near the centre of Erlangen

Glad it was only one night.

The hotel is very small and very strange. The bathroom is extremely small. The bed wasn’t comfy and the pillows were pointless they were that old. The hotel is locked during the night and only access is through a key card system that hardly works. Luckily another returning guest could let me in as their card worked. No tea and coffee facilities, only a very poor coffee machine in the entrance that is coin operated. Very deflated by the stay. To say it is boutique is questionable. It lacks the main facilities that most hotels have.

It was difficult to find. There is no sign outside, just the name written on a glass door. There is free parking on the street outside if there is space otherwise the garage is 15 euro. The attached restaurant was fully booked as were 3 nearby ones at 6:30pm on a Saturday. I found a bar selling food. The room was compact especially the toilet/shower but it all worked and was clean. Free WiFi

Very nice hotel in a good location.

The room was nice, clean and had a very pleasant smell, but the double bed wasn't very comfortable because of the gap between the two beds (would prefer to have one cover sheet on two beds rather than two on each bed to avoid the gap and discomfort). Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Moderne, schöne Unterkunft mit Stil

Mein Zimmer (106) war sehr geräumig, das Duschbad modern und komplett ausgestattet, die Möblierung praktisch und bequem, die Anmutung modern und zeitgemäß. Das Frühstücksbuffet war umfassend, die Bedienung aufmerksam. Die Lage ist klasse in der Nähe der Innenstadt, aber auch nicht weit weg von unseren Kunden.

Nice hotel, good amenities, helpful staff

The hotel was very nice, the staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was nicely furnished, and clean, not tatty. The bathroom was a bit small, but overall it was a good stay, and I'd stay there again if I was back in Erlangen. It was only a few minutes walk from the central railway station, and a 10 minute walk to the old town, shopping area, and bars and restaurants.

Overall great value and phenomenal location!

Amazing location. Interesting hotel. Very modern and updated. Great staff and overall value! This is a place I'll be returning to on my next visit to Erlangen. Food/drinks were quality. Simply great.

First time in Erlanger

I arrived very late on the Wednesday night and the hotel was all shut up, however there was a sign in the window with a number to call (the sign is in English & German). I called the number the sleepy young lady directed to an electronic key box and gave me the key code which in turn gave me access to my room key and the WIFI key codes. The morning breakfast was a full continental breakfast with a good selection and variety. The hotel is in the old section of the town and is near the university and within walking distance of the station through the park. The room was small but clean. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The only issue with the bathroom is the toilet holder catches you in the leg when moving around the bathroom. The hotel is nice and clean and I would stay there again.

A short (one night) stopover in a long journey. Hotel difficult to access as no parking to stop. Man on reception seemed to think we were inconveniencing him by arriving. Building and rooms glossy in appearance but basic in facilities, and room was very small. Worst feature, being on a busy city street, with noisy traffic from early in morning. Over-priced for a basic hotel. There are better options in Erlangen.

Good Price-Performance Ratio

Located in downtown Erlangen the hotel is close to historic downtown and the university. It is clean and breakfast is quite good for a 3 star hotel.

Beware of price hike on confirmation email.

Fine little hotel, although the price on on hotels,com was a lot less when I booked it than what I neded up paying. Unfortunately, I didn't notice on the confirmation email that the price was WAY higher that on the booking page. Not very impressed with hotels.com for that. Will be very wary about using hotels.com in the future and only as a last resort.
