Les Charmes du Lac A Cozy Studio Apartment in the Heart of Esclauzels

In the heart of Esclauzels, a small village just 20 minutes from Cahors and 10 minutes from St. Cirq La Popie, you will find "Les Charmes Du Lac".
A cosy studio apartment circa 1786, with beamed ceilings, stone walls, living space with a dining area, separate kitchen with full size appliances and all small appliances you could need for your stay. All cooking essentials and tableware are provided as well as a spice bar, olive oil, and starter coffee for the Senseo which uses pads.
The apartment has wireless internet 5g, cable TV with English channels and Netflix, and a variety of books and games.
There is an additional living room for your use that separates the two terraces. It is very comfortable.
There are two outdoor furnished courtyards or perhaps enjoy a picnic beside the lake just 1 minute behind the lodging with views and direct access from the back terrace. The back terrace has a gas BBQ with all utensils. The property is fully fenced. Small doggies, under 18lbs, are welcome for a fee of 15euro per stay.
All linens are included in the price as well as shower gel and shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer and first aid kit.
There is a full size washer and dryer available.

The village has no shops so best to get your supplies before checking in. There is an Intermarche just 20 minutes from us in Terre Rouge and a Casino Market in Lalbenque. The village of Limogne du Quercy has a large outdoor market every Sunday and has several restaurants. They are just 20 minutes from us. The supermarkets also provide delivery.
Hiking and cycling as well as water sports can be enjoyed.

Just Wonderful

The owners of the property are warm and welcoming and congenial. The property itself is tastefully decorated , well equipped and comfortable. The owners have considered everything to make your stay as cosy as possible. The village is lovely and there are plenty of walks in the area. Highly recommend staying here.

Der Urlaub bei Dawne und Dominique hat jeglicher Erwartung entsprochen. Die Unterkunft entsprach vollkommen der Beschreibung, sie war auch leicht zu finden. Unsere Gastgeber waren uns herzlich zugetan und boten sehr viele Informationen über die Umgebung. Wir waren zum Wandern in die Gegend gefahren, aber die schönen mittelalterlichen Städte und Sehenswürdigkeiten waren jeweils recht schnell zu erreichen. Für die teilweise recht kurvenreiche Straßenführung, da einige Berge zu umfahren waren, können die Gastgeber natürlich nichts, man sollte sich aber darauf einstellen, auf krummen Wegen zum ZIel zu kommen. Nette Anekdote bei unserer Abreise: Wenige Meter nach der Ortschaft Esclauzel stand plötzlich ein Känguruh (!) auf der Straße.
