Welcome to the "Ferienhaus Pape"
(Opening in July 2019, freshly renovated & renovated)

The freestanding listed half-timbered house (built in 1789) is quietly located in the central city center of the town of Eslohe and is the birthplace of the writer Joseph Pape (1831-1898). For the special flair of the house contributes both the outside and inside visible historic Sauerland framework, which was maintained with much effort and love over the years. The approximately 350 m² garden with large lawn, sandpit, many seating, garden shed and barbecue area runs parallel to the adjacent Esselbach and has direct access to the shallow waters. A fun for kids and adults! The own driveway over the Esselbach bridge to the house with associated forecourt is traffic-calmed. The double garage with small workshop offers enough space for your motorcycles / bicycles or skis / snowboards. For MTB and road bike riders to offer numerous trails and trails with and without altitude in the area (see Komoot / Sauerlandradwege / Alter Bahnradweg etc.). For motorcyclists (parking space in the garage) Eslohe provides a perfect starting point for trips across the vast hilly Sauerland.

Domestic equipments:
The house has 15 beds, spread over 7 bedrooms (4x double bed, 1x two single beds, 1x bunk bed, 1x double bed and single bed). Two travel cots for toddlers are additionally available. The sufficient number of washing facilities (4 showers, 1 bath) and 4 toilets (1 guest toilet) ensure that even in the morning no queue is necessary. A changing area and a children's toilet are available on the 1st floor.
The well-equipped kitchen is directly connected to the large dining room. At the large dining room table you can comfortably sit together in a big group and even the youngest find their own space at the dining table (2 high chairs). Adjacent to the kitchen is the children's playroom. In the immediate vicinity of this is another large common room for kickers, darts, TV, etc. invites. You can relax in the sauna (free of charge!) use in the attic. For our sports enthusiasts we have provided a gym with various sports equipment. Internet is available both in the house and in the garden.
The safety of the children is important to us, so that the stairs on the 1st floor are equipped with a fall protection.

Note: In order to provide us and future guests with a beautiful and well-maintained accommodation, we would like to point out that excessive celebrations, bachelor parties, team rides, etc. are not allowed / permitted. For reasons of fire safety, smoking and the use of candles / fire in the landmarked half-timbered house are expressly prohibited. Pets are not allowed. The house is to be left broom clean after the stay. We ask you to take this into account. Thanks a lot!
