Accommodation In Espinar

Start your planning early, as there are not many accommodation options that are less than 10 kilometres from downtown Espinar.

There are not many hotels within an easy walk from the centre of Espinar. The Sierra Alta Espinar is an ideal choice as it is only 3 kilometres away.

No vacation in Espinar would be complete without a trip to the Machu Picchu. The Hotel La Cabaña Machu Picchu and Taypikala Boutique Machupicchu are handy options for those staying in the area as they are within a 100 metres radius of Machu Picchu.

The greater Cusco area is definitely worth visiting as well. Cusco is known for rural landscapes. Popular Cusco tourist attractions include the ruins. Or join the locals mountain biking, mountain climbing and hiking while you are here.

Travellers planning on arriving via Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport might like to book a room at the Tierra Viva Cusco Plaza or the Casa Andina Classic - Cusco Plaza, which are both conveniently located nearby.

New reviews! Best hotels in Espinar

Hotel EL Virrey Suite
New, centrally located hotel does essentials well
5 / 5
Late June (cold winter) 2025: Very Good (and new) hotel that is centrally located. Market is 3 minute walk and restaurants a 7 min walk - neighborhood is safe to walk in at night; has fast WiFi; heat in room via an electric heater (ask for it); good bed and blankets: my wife and I were warm overnight - no need to sleep in extra pajamas (compare with Puno); TV worked fine. Room was decent size and had lots of shelves for storing packs etc. Note that the best rooms are on the 4th and 5th floors - there is no elevator! The lady who runs the hotel will help...but at 12,700 feet elevation, it can be a struggle. There is a cochero inside the building (first floor) to park and SUV or other (safe); NOTE: at 6am we tried getting hot water - after 10-12 minutes we gave up...just has tepid to lukewarm in the shower. Probably 12 noon to 7pm or so would be the best hrs for a hot shower here (and many places in Peru).
