Everyone was so friendly. If we needed anything, we would have it right away. The Continental breakfasts had everything you could want. Including elk chili!! (My favorite)

Spent the day at Rocky Mountain National Park and this was a very convenient place to stay. Close to Estes Park but definitely had to drive to the downtown. Breakfast was very European which was a bit odd.

The Expedition has a great location but the property could use some tlc The area around the doors, the stairwells, ice machines, etc were not that clean. The room was comfortable and functional. We did not use the maid service, so I cannot comment on that. There was some road construction going on as well that added to the slightly off feel of the place.

This hotel is at the higher end of budget hotels. I spent four nghts there. I decided to extend my stay for two additional nights. I changed hotels down the street for the same price and it was much better.

Overall an okay stay, but the rooms were very dated, no carpet, damp smell, the ceiling was extremely dirty and even broken at a few places. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast is a namesake, Mexican chilli and some other stuff that did not meet my family’s needs. Mostly cold. Good approach to the national park beaver meadows entrance, but the best western and quality inn would have been a better choice with kids.

The room had some bad mattress frames and there was jagged metal sticking out from the bed. I put my suitcase in front of it so I wouldn’t accidentally get cut. The hotel was extremely run down and the flooring was coming up in the hotel room. There was no elevator which made things especially difficult. The room was big and comfortable and we loved the breakfast experience.

Way out dated. We were given a room that was as far away as possible, and no way to avoid steps with all our luggage. Needs some simple/minor repairs. Also, the bottles for shampoo and body wash in the shower were empty, when we alerted housekeeping, they gave us small bars of soap and bottles of shampoo.

Construction was the first thing I saw and heard. From the pictures, I was expecting interior only entrances which was important to me since I was traveling alone. I had Both interior and exterior doors! Not a comfortable feeling. No hot water both nights, room didn’t feel clean and bugs running across the floor. Wouldn’t recommend! Checked out early.

It's Just Ok

The good: Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was quite nice with a lot of choices. The bad: Very run-down motel, the floor of our room was so dirty and there were hundreds of dead spiders on the walls of our room. The location is also not that great (there is a view if you ignore the major highway and other homes) but it is not in walking distance to town.
