Fine omgivelser, men mange minus.
Hadde et greit opphold. Hotellet bærer preg av dårlig vedlikehold og mangler litt på modernisering. Vegger og tak er betongkonstruksjon, men det er likevel lytt inn til naborom og opp til et bråkete aktivitetsrom. Sengene bar også preg av alderen, med knakende tresenger og madrass fra 80-tallet. Rengjøringen var ok, men håndklær ble ikke byttet til dag 2. Valdres Høyfjellshotell ligger i nydelige omgivelser, men veiene inn dit er forferdelige. Vi ble tatt imot av en hyggelig betjening. Frokostsalen var stor og fin, men der måtte vi sortere for å finne rene tallerkener og bestikk. Frokosten var enkel. Grei varmmatt med pytt i panne, egg og bacon. Av kjøttpålegg var det kun kokt skinke. Dag 2 var det nok også tomt for leverpostei.

Maten var dårlig, virket som om den hadde blitt varmet opp igjen flere ganger Mugg i taket på rommet, himlingsplater hadde svullet ned og det luftet gammelt, på badet var det mugg å råte, ikke gjort noe siden 1960 med hotellet, ølen som ble servert under middagen var lunken. Alt i alt en dårlig opplevelse
