A/C worked fine. Beds were comfy. No Bugs except for Mosquitos, but hey...it is The Everglades! Older building. Very plain and simple. Perfect for a place to make a pitstop on the way to or from Key West.

I was worried about staying here because there were bad reviews. Those reviews are wrong. The place is clean, comfortable and near everything. The check in process was easy and the staff soooo friendly. Would definitely stay there again!!

Woukd have been good to know that u need to go to a different location to check in. Also was not told there was no ice machine at the hotel, next day we asked and was told we could get it at another motel down the block, so went there to find the ice machine was broken. So ended up going back to the original place that we checked in to get ice.

Check in is at a different location than the hotel. After entering our room, there was no TV remote. We called the office, and they said they would have one delivered, but not sure how long that would take. So, we went for a swim in the pool. Upon returning from our swim, our room keys no longer worked. Fortunately, we had our car keys, so we could drive back to the office and get our room keys fixed (since someone had been in our room to deal with the TV remote they had reprogrammed the room keys). Very frustrating.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Had to check in at a different location, which was inconvenient. Parking was adequate, however there was a crowd in the parking lot that made me, as a single woman, uncomfortable. Won’t rule out staying there again, but won’t stay by myself.

For $89 a night, it is a great deal considering what you get. The rooms are small but have all the amenities and are clean. They do have a nice pool and everything is within walking distance, especially if you like to fish like me. I will go back especially if it's only for overnight.

Very clean and simple. In the middle of the city. Grocery store across the road. The check-in is not on site - I did not feel that was communicated well. Quiet town. Relaxing.
