The Wood Norton Hotel

Along with our American friends we had a wonderful two day stay at this beautiful property in the most gorgeous scenery in the Cotswold. Beth on reception was absolutely wonderful, so caring, polite and informative. She is a massive asset to your company and we cannot thank her enough for helping make our stay truly fabulous

short stop over at Norton Wood

Check-in disappointing, with no information forthcoming unless you asked, directions to room, location of restaurant/breakfast room, opening hours for food etc. Bar prices exorbitant, bar staff would go absent for long periods with people waiting at the bar, surly night porter.

A wonderful hotel with a beautiful meal. The staff are so helpful it's unreal. The only downside was the heating was stuck on and I couldn't get it to turn down My fault, I never called reception. But opening the windows was a shame as we were over the kitchen door and they came out to smoke regularly which stank. I'm a non smoker. Again. I didn't complain so that's on me. The rooms however are delightful and the food amazing

Gem of a find

a wonderful hotel.a great room and lovely breakfast. We booked a superior room for the night and had both a free standing bath and a walk in shower. Really generous sized room. Beautiful grounds. Freshly cooked breakfast with quality products.
