Det er et hyggeligt, gammeldags sommerhus, som er smukt beliggende på en stor grund i et roligt område. Huset virker nedslidt, og dårlig isoleret. Der blev hurtigt koldt. Der er en varmepumpe, en og en gammel brændeovn som er meget utæt, og svær at styre. Der er et børne)soveværelse, og der er flere andre rum herunder badeværelset, som ikke har nogen varmekilde og blev ved med at være halvkolde. Der er skimmelsvamp i brusenichen, og meget kondens i vinduerne. Nogle af møblerne er slidte og trænger til en kærlig hånd. Man kan se rådyr udenfor huset. Det ligger centralt på øen, og man kan hurtigt komme til byerne og til vandet.
