The view was great, unfortunately everything else was a nightmare. We were forced to check in through an app outside of the Vrbo system. It requested all kinds of personal information, most of it not required to rent a place for a day. Property management company cool cabins was a massive pain in the butt. Communication was good but customer service was horrible. Had to wait until 4pm for a door access code which they told me I could have at 2pm. Spotty cell service required us to stay in town until we received the text with door passcode, then drive over to the Cabin. The cabin was very poorly maintained /managed by cool cabins. Bathroom was dirty, faucets were so loose if pulled in a normal fashion they came up out of the counter. The cabin had a horrible mildew smell in the basement where the billiards table was located. Deck was torn-up not maintained, carpet on the spiral stairs was disgusting. Really, really bad stay. Honestly I would have asked for a refund but then they could delete my review, so I took the hit for others. Choose another cabin and management company. Thanks for taking my call Barbara.
