Pure nature - detached quiet cottage for 4 people

Our detached cottage in the Black Forest is located on the edge of the forest in the municipality Feldberg, Falkau district. The house was purchased by us in October 2014 and is located right next to the house 'Bruno', which we also rent (HomeAway 2042270). The house is functional, an increase of the equipment is scheduled for early summer.

Since we are the house with towels, linens, possibly High chair & cot rent, it really lacks nothing for a cozy getaway, 365 days a year and the first hour.

Through a optmierten with storage and wardrobe hall, you enter the living-dining room. From there, the kitchen, the bathroom, the bedrooms and the terrace open up.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stove, dishwasher, microwave, stove, coffee maker, toaster, kettle. The bathroom is equipped with shower and toilet. From the south-facing terrace is a wonderful view of the valley opens up. A wonderful place to start the day with a hearty breakfast.

Great Neighbourhood
Neighbourhood was great with proximity to forest paths, river and the famous Titisee and Schluchsee. The "detached quiet cottage for 4" left a lot to be desired. Transparency on costs per night: apparently price on Vrbo is for 2 persons, with each additional person at 15.80USD per night on my booking. Cleanliness: Living room sofa was full of hair from a previous occupant. The bed in the childrens room had traces of confetti or sweets from a previous occupant. Communication: Nothing explained about how heater works despite 2 degree temperature at night. Recycling and garbage disposal is not explained. Light switch in the bathroom was simply an open electrical connection. Nothing was mentioned about "the other light switch" concealed in the bathroom cabinet The stay in the cottage would have been a whole lot better if certain aspects were clarified, basic cleanliness was ensured and expectations not raised about a so called carefully "curated atmosphere".

Ganz OK, aber ausbaufähig
Das Ferienhaus liegt sehr schön, ruhig und macht auch einen guten Eindruck. Es war frisch renoviert und die Eigentümer haben sich wirklich Mühe gegeben. Der Renovierung waren aber auch Mängel geschuldet. So war der Lichtschalter im Bad nicht nutzbar, weil er gar nicht angeschlossen war. Die zugehörige Steckdose fehlte völlig. Licht ging nur über die Beleuchtung des Spiegelschranks. In der Garage war für unser Auto, ein größerer Kombi, kaum Platz, weil dort alte Möbel und Baumaterial gelagert waren. Das Fzg. passte gerade so in die Garage, aber man konnte sie nicht schließen, weil wir nicht weit genug vorfahren konnten. Ein- und Aussteigen war nur mit Verrenkungen möglich. Andere Parkmöglichkeiten sind nicht vorhanden - man muss die Garage nutzen muss! Dass das Ferienhaus nur 3 Betten und nicht 4 Betten, wie in der Anzeige angegeben, hatte hat uns nicht gestört, aber für andere Interessenten könnte das wichtig sein. Es wurde uns vor der Anreise mitgeteilt, dass die Betten fertig bezogen wären. Das war nicht der Fall. Das zweite Bett mussten wir selbst beziehen. Hierbei haben wir bemerkt, dass sämtliche Reißverschlüsse der Bett- und Kissenbezüge kaputt und nicht mehr funktionstüchtig waren. Am letzten Tag wollten wir dann noch mit dem vorhandenen Staubsauger durch die Wohnung gehen. Das war jedoch nicht möglich, weil der Staubbeutel dermaßen voll war, dass sich der ganze Dreck bereits im Gehäuse angesammelt hatte. Insgesamt für das Gebotene in der Vorsaison zu teuer!

"Urlaub" mit Hindernissen
Wo fange ich an, wo höre ich auf? Bei der Anreise konnte der Schlüssel nicht an dem besagten Ort aufgefunden werden. Nach mehrmaligem versuchen, den Vermieter zu erreichen, hat uns dieser erklärt, dass der Schlüssel an einem anderen Ort platziert ist. Auch der Code aus der Email hat nicht mit dem, der uns am Telefon genannt wurde Übereingestimmt. Das heisst selbst wenn wir die Schlüsselbox gefunden hätten, wären wir nicht an den Schlüssel gekommen. Das Bad wurde frisch renoviert, jedoch hat der Lichtschalter nicht funktioniert bzw. Die Kabel waren noch blank an der Wand, lebensgefahr! Einen Kinderhochstuhl wie er in der Beschreibung aufgelistet war, ist nicht vorzufinden gewesen. Auch bei mehrmaligem Versuch, denn Vermieter telefonisch zu erreichen war dieser nicht für uns erreichbar. Die Sauberkeit in dem Haus lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig. Bei Ankunft waren die Bettlaken und Handtücher auf den Boden geschmissen. Dies weiss normalerweise auf alte Handtücher hin!? Des weiteren waren die bettlaken fleckig. Das Haus wurde mit einem zentralen Gasofen betrieben. Was für ein sehr schönes wohlbefinden gesorgt hat, hätten wir nicht ein einjähriges Kind dabei gehabt, dass ständig dagegen fassen wollte und somit nur bedingt zum beheizen genutzt werden konnte. Die Parkanlage drumherum ist sehr schön angelegt. Im Sommer lässt es sich dort sicher aushalten. Alles in allem würden wir nicht noch einmal das Ferien Haus buchen, schade.

Wer Ruhe sucht, findet sie hier
Die ruhige Lage des Bungalows ist fantastisch! Die Sauberkeit lässt sehr zu wünschen übrig, auch der 80-er Jahre Charme des Bades ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. In den Schubkästen der Wohnstubeneinrichtung liegen ausrangierte, kaputte Sachen, der Vermieter sollte mal aufräumen. Fazit: Wer Ruhe sucht, ist hier richtig. Aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Schade.

Dit kan echt beter
Bij aankomst was niets geregeld. Via via kwamen we er achter waar de beheerder woonde. Hij was niet geïnformeerd over ons verblijf. Hij moest met zijn vrouw eerst de woning schoonmaken. Wij zijn toen maar even wat gaan eten en drinken. De foto's van de woning laten een ander beeld zien dan het in werkelijkheid is. Verder functioneerde de kachel niet toen het koud werd en we deze wilde aanzetten.

Een rustige vakantie in een mooie bungalow.
De bungalow is goed uitgerust met alles wat je maar kan wensen. Keuken en badkamer zijn klein, maar heel handig ingericht. Ideäal vertrekpunt voor onze dagelijkse wandelingen, met onze hond. Is trouwens een zeer hondsvriendelijke omgeving. Wij hebben van onze vakantie genoten.

Gezellig huisje, prachtige ligging
Ideale uitvalsbasis om Hochschwarzwald te verkennen. Heerlijk rustig gelegen, op enkele meters van het bos. Compleet huisje op een mini park. Alles was aanwezig. Wij vonden het wel spijtig dat het terras afgeschermd is door hoge coniferen wat het zicht op de bergen aan de overkant belemmerde.

Super Lage
Haus liegt direkt am Waldrand. Mit dem Hund kann man somit direkt spazieren gehen. Die Wasserfälle sind nur 5-10 Minuten entfernt. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind mit dem Auto in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Der Feldberg liegt nur 10 Minuten entfernt. Haus ist sehr gemütlich und ausreichend groß für 4 Personen. Der Park selbst ist sehr geplegt.
