The sea-facing side of the house is made almost completely of glass, so that you have uninterrupted views. The open-plan living room is heavenly, with the sweeping kitchen, the dining table and the big luxurious corner sofa all enjoying that divine panorama. Whether the waves are crashing vehemently below or tranquilly rippling, it is sure to be mesmerising.
Apple Pip is spacious and perfect for spending quality time together, socialising and creating memories which you are sure to treasure. From the living area, spill out into the sea-facing garden, where the glass door opens out onto the raised seating area, with steps down onto the lawned enclosed garden stretching out across the cliff top. On the ground floor you have three bedrooms, two twin bedrooms plus a double with an en-suite shower room, and the main bathroom. Upstairs you have the most incredible master bedroom with a huge, luxurious super kingsize bed and a double spa bath looking out onto the panoramic sea views. This room is ideal for romantic moments away from the rest of the family, sharing a toast to a fabulous holiday whilst you unwind together in the swirling hot and steamy water, watching as the stars appear in the sky above the sea. You can step out onto the huge private balcony to take in the scenery further. There is a double sofa bed in the master bedroom, which can be used on request so that your little ones can join you, they will probably be equally delighted by the spa bath.
Join the local anglers at high tide, or bring your own sea kayaks and body boards for some fun in the surf. If that all sounds a bit energetic, take the portable barbecue down to the beach for a relaxed evening watching the waves. There are cliff-top walks from the front door, combined with the many attractions of Scarborough, 11 miles, Bridlington, 8 miles, and Filey, 4 miles, which are all easily accessible by car, or there is a bus stop just 200 yards away. Guests can also stroll along the beach to ’The Bay’, a development that boasts tennis courts, a gymnasium, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, a friendly restaurant and an Italian pizzeria.
Flamborough Head and RSPB Bempton Cliffs are just over 15 minutes in the car, where guests can observe puffins, gannets, dolphins and seals in their natural habitat. You are in an ideal location to explore the stunning Yorkshire coastline. Beach 150 yards. Shop 300 yards, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
