NO ELEVATOR. so if u've got a big luggage, forget about it. However, unless u r staying at a 5star hotel, this place just might do. Great value, walkable everywhere, in safer area, busy streets, felt like I was thrown in the middle of Firenze back in the time while A/C was working great. VERY CLEAN bathroom was a plus.

We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up only staying 1. They do not advertise that there are several flights of stairs to get to your room. Our bedding and bathroom were clean but the rest of the room was dusty and dated. The air conditioning did not work well and we were very hot at night. The worst part was that they locked the front door at night and it took the concierge a while to come open it for us — we called and rang the bell and a gentleman from the bar next door drunkenly tried to help us but it took some time to get access to our hotel. I said something to the concierge and he was rude and said he was in the bathroom. I believe he was out smoking cigarettes and did not expect anyone to come late night. This is when we decided we would check out the next day and find a better hotel. We ended up at Globus around the corner which I highly recommend. To the staff here — tell your guests about the stairs in the listing, dust the rooms, and let guests know if the front door will be locked (especially if it will take you 20 mins to answer it!). The gentleman that checked us in and out was very kind.

The place may be small; but, it has a great location. The place is neat with clean bathroom. Love the shower gel and shampoo. Room is surprisingly large and comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

The hotel is centrally located, close to the train station and to plazas. Hotel doesn’t have elevator but the front desk was very nice to help us with our luggages. Room was tidy and housekeeping is daily. Beds were very comfortable. I would go back here given a chance.

Great little spot for travelling around Florence, great food and supermarkets around. Was only 5 mins walk to the Duomo. Small room but enough for a couple for a few nights. But as the information is stated, the stairs were difficult if youve got big luggage as we did.

Great value!

Perfect location to stay in Florence! You’re right in the historic centre and all major sites are within short walk. The people who work at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We came by car and the hotel has an arrangement with a nearby garage (1min walk away) for parking which runs smoothly. It is an extra charge (28 euro/day) but well worth it for us. The hotel rooms are simple but of a decent size and perfectly clean. The AC was amazing after exploring the city during a summer heat wave. The breakfast is included and was tasty and varied. We would definitely stay here again.
