Great location

The location is great and very walkable. The rooms are tiny and the breakfast surcharge was not worth it. There are plenty of options for breakfast in the area.

They really go above and beyond to help you. They helped us with transportation. And they have a shuttle bus that can take you and pick you up from the nearest train stop. You can then take that into the Venice train station. The breakfast is out of this world, it isn’t your ordinary Hotel breakfast, it is amazing!

The hotel was located in a very central location across the duomo, train station, gallery with lots of restaurants and grocery shops nearby. There is also a nice park right outside. The breakfast was very good with complimentary drinks and coffee provided at the reception. My room was right across the street which caused some disturbance with car noise in the wee hours, but other than that the stay was very good.

We got stranded overnight due to a brief train strike and the hotel kindly accommodated us for a brief visit. Having visited Florence on prior occasions I’m a bit familiar with the city and this is a small but very comfortable hotel with an English speaking staff. The rates are quite reasonable and the location great. Will definitely rebook for a longer stay next time in this beautiful city.

Decent and clean place, good location.

This hotel was really close to train station. Which is a plus, its located in a very busy area so lots of restaurants, shoppe ing etc. Room was clean my only compliant is don't say you have A/C when we can't control the mini split unit. Ultimately the hotel controls all the units and they turned them off during our stay and we had to open windows.

Caravaggio hotel

Charming hotel, close to train station and central market and Galleria dell’ accademia. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our windows faced the street, was a little noisy at night.

This property was conveniently located to Il Duomo and everything we wanted to see. The room had a great view and was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and polite. The only thing I would warn you is to take cash to pay the city tax because this hotel insist it be paid in cash. Other hotels in Italy have accepted credit cards from me, so just be ready. It’s minor- $6/ person per night. Check out the public market around the corner in the morning for a great coffee and breakfast pastry. So many things in the market- incline friuts, vegetables, meats, bakery, and more. It’s closed later in the day, but the 2nd level Is open later with a very nice collection of restaurants.

The stay was great - well located near the historic center of Florence. The service was excellent, the hotel is a little dated from and interior but still provided a great home base with many great restaurants within walking distance

Nice stay

Nice hotel, close to the main attractions. Staff super lovely and helpful. The room was quite small however, air con didn’t seem to work and the bed wasn’t the most comfy (and pillows) for my friend and I. But it is a nice clean hotel and good location.
