Florence Holiday

Hotel was lovely. In a great location only a short walk from the Florence Santa Maria Novella railway station. Hotel interior lovely, artfully laid out. Room was lovely with a modern bathroom. Breakfast is on the ground floor with a good selection available. Hotel located on the Santa Maria Novella piazza, nice open square as you stepped out of the hotel. A lovely location. An abundance of good restaurants in the immediate area, food lovely. Plus loads more fine restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The Dumo is only 5-10 minutes walk. In fact all central Florence & the river only a short walk away. Lovely city for walking around.

Lovely location but if your room is facing the square it’ll be noisy just to warm you of your an early bedder, beautiful view of the square though! Air conditioning in the room wasn’t great but it was extremely hot when we were in Florence. Breakfast was good and the staff were all friendly and helpful.

I loved my stay here! Such a fun and quirky hotel. They did not skimp on the amenities. All staff were kind and helpful. It is a short walk to most Florence landmarks as well as the train station. We loved our time and will be recommending it to our friends.

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. The staff are exceedingly friendly and go out of their way to show you local landmarks and what to do. What I loved about this place 1) fantastic location, 5 mins from train station, and located right on a plaza with lots of restaurants 2) generously sized, clean rooms with beautiful ceilings 3) really high quality breakfast 4) unique charm, the owner has a thing for superheroes so you will see some large replica models throughout the place Amazingly friendly team

Decent stay. Could have been better

Check In: relatively quick but not friendly. Gentleman checking us in just started talking to someone else. Room (121): was nice. Okay for a 2-3 night stay. Clean bathroom but the window on the bathroom door looking into the bathroom was strange. Bed was comfortable but the a/c didn’t cool the room enough. It was very hot for June but meant we didn’t sleep too well. No smart TV so no English channels.

Excellent hotel; bad pillows

Beautiful hotel and kind staff. Very well located. It was a quick walk to the hotel with luggage from the train station. During our stay we were happy to be so close to the many things we wanted to see. Only complaint is that the pillows were terribly uncomfortable. We did not sleep well due to that. Otherwise the bed was comfortable and though small the room was nice and very well air conditioned as a break from the late June heat. Would stay here again if there were better pillows.

This hotel is so beautiful and in a wonderful location. Our room had a vaulted ceiling and murals on the walls. It was unforgettable. Our only complaint was that the air con was not very effective at cooling our room, leaving us quite warm at night.
