We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Grifone and would definitely recommend to anybody looking to stay in Florence! We enjoyed the spa after a long travel day, and it was clean and quiet! Our bed was comfortable and large, and they sold bus tickets at the front desk which was super easy and convenient! Overall a great stay!

On outskirts of town - (so outside ZTL zone) - good bus service though will get you to most places you’ll want to visit. On site parking is a bit steep at €25 per day. First rate helpful front desk staff always able to answer any queries. Nice breakfast & a couple of restaurants very close to hotel. Pool access charge is a little over the top though at €10 per person per hour (€20 if you want to use spa).

Great stay! It became clear this was a well-known hotel as there were road signs showing the way as we came close. Only thing to pick on is that using the swimming pool involved extra cost. This was not announced on the Hotels.com site and came as a bit of a surprise.

Great hotel for family with spacious rooms and access to a pool (for extra money). Staff are very helpful and friendly. It is a 30 minute walk to Duomo and Centre of Florence. So you feel like you’re at at resort instead of a downtown experience.
