i love this place and the staff!! only thing i wasn’t the most pumped about is how you give your key to the desk whenever you are leaving the hotel. i understand they are very unique keys and pick pocketing/theft is common so it’s not the worst idea to do this.

This hotel has a lot of character. Every room in the facility was carefully decorated. The room felt like a room in a fairy tale. The staff was amazing. They were very attentive and helpful. Beautiful hotel in the outskirts of the old quarter. Easy to walk to the main attractions and museums, and quieter. Friendly staff, willing to help. Delicious breakfast served 8-10:30, with delicious coffee. 11 min walk from the main train station.

5-star rating for the staff that goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Convenient location, just a couple of minutes walk to the main attractions. Beautiful garden and closed paid parking. Great rooftop view. The hotel itself needs immediate renovation. The smell of mold in our room got me sick after two nights and to help the air conditioning system is so old that the room never got the temperature down. When we arrived at the room, room was not very clean and it had hairs from the previous guests in the bathroom and on the furniture at the feet of the bed. Mattresses are already losing consistency probably because they are too old. It is a family owned hotel and therefore I will be more lenient on these facts than I normally am and hopefully they will make me the necessary renovations for us to come back again.
