Ruote Apartment first

Charming and spacious apartment located on the first floor of a typical Florentine building without an elevator, in a quiet neighborhood just steps from the historic center. The apartment features a spacious and welcoming living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and two bedrooms—one double and one single. The double bedroom has a private bathroom and a small balcony. A second full bathroom with a bathtub completes the property.
Upon arrival, our guests will find a courtesy kit to meet their first needs (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.).
The apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone. 
Check-in is by appointment from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For arrivals after 8:00 PM, a supplement will be applied.

Service limitation:
Air conditioning in Italy is regulated by national laws that set a minimum temperature of 20°C and a maximum of 22°C.
The temperature values ​​allowed in our apartment are 19°C (+ 2°C tolerance) up to a maximum of 21° C. Based on Decree no. 383 of 6/10/2022 of the Ministry of Ecological Transition, for the winter season, the period of switching on the systems for the Municipality of Florence is allowed from 8 November to 7 April, for a maximum of 11 hours per day.
Pay attention to your house keys. In case of loss or non-delivery of the keys, a cost of 50 Euros will be charged for replacing the lock for security reasons.
For urgent interventions caused by the guest outside office hours (from 10pm to 8am) a payment of EUR100 will be required. 

As per italian law n°214/2011 (art. 40.1) the italian police require us to report our guests' identification details. The info that guests are required to provide include a valid ID and resident address.
To ensure maximum comfort for all guests, we recommend using the shower one person at a time. The apartment is equipped with a water heater, so simultaneous use of hot water may temporarily reduce the water temperature. . I stayed here for about 17 days. Twice a staff member or employee let themselves into the room without our knowledge and both times myself or someone else was sleeping. I had to ask for towels, toilet paper, and sheets, and was told that the toilet paper we were provided was all that we were allowed to get from them which was never told to us until we had already been there for 10 days. The area itself was old and somewhat charming but during winter it was too cold in the 2nd room. I wouldn’t stay here again especially for anything more than a day or 2. The staff is responsive but they also just come in whenever they please.

Well, in a pinch I selected this spot, failing to read all the way at the bottom of the listing that there is a late check in fee. Pissed off I couldn't cancel the second I got the ,your gonna have to pay 80-100 euros just for late check in message vrbo was no helpThen a nice gentleman checked us in we had to sign some contract and pay tourism tax...But having an in person fancy check in still didn't mention there is a special way to jiggle the lock on the front door to get it to open, or that the is a light switch to illuminate the long dark stairwell. I saw someone else use it 2 days into my stay. Host was responsive and did help with the key issue promptly but still.....Roomy place, convenient location and clean. Still 80-100 bucks for late check in is a little absurd. Had I known I would never have selected this place..... But location location.

Spacious apartment not far from the city center

This is a very very large apartment with plenty of room for multiple guests. There were 3 of us so the place felt huge with so few people! The host was very nice and helpful with check in and information about the apartment. He warned us of a couple of issues (specifically about the power going on), which one could expect in an old building. There are AC floor units in each bedroom, which work very well, but the one in the smaller bedroom unfortunately leaked on the floor. It would be in the host's best interest to fix this ASAP. The floors are also rather dirty if you walk around barefoot. Overall, these are minor complaints and we really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful apartment in center

Very comfortable and clean apartment Maybe a bit too old fashioned in some details but absolutely worth its price Close to most popular destinations, 10 min walk from Santa Maria Novella and a little more from Palazzo vecchio. Mercato centrale is near and you can enjoy fantastic street food there Recommended
