Oceanfront 1Br/1Ba Condo~Little Peace of Heaven

One of Folly's Best! This comfortable and clean 1 bedroom corner condo has hardwood floors, a cozy open floor plan and a beautiful ocean view! Let the king size Tempur-Pedic mattress and luxurious linens help rejuvenate you for each day of your vacation. Little Peace of Heaven is located on the second floor of an elevated three story complex that is directly on the beach. The building was recently renovated to feature new decking and upgraded A/C units. Sit on the porch and enjoy the warm sun as you're watching the dolphins play while having your morning coffee. You even have access to a shared washer/dryer during your vacation! The night sky is perfect for stargazing and listening to the ocean waves crash onto the shore. You can leave your car parked in your reserved parking space the entire time you are here as everything is in easy walking distance. Beach lovers can enjoy the ocean from the view off the shared balcony or by crossing the private boardwalk over the sand dunes and right onto the sand! During the summer you can enjoy the water at one of the only sections of the beach with a lifeguard. Those who like to fish can walk down to the Folly Beach Fishing Pier located less than a block away to join other anglers. Great restaurants, fresh seafood vendors and a grocery store are all nearby. This unit is a great base to explore the beach as well as the Historic City of Charleston. This is a smoke free and pet free condo. Little Peace of Heaven does not allow pets. Folly Beach Suites shares laundry & HVAC with the neighboring unit, a locked door leads to the adjoining laundry room. Please keep temperatures at recommended levels and remove clothes from washer/dryer as soon as possible. While we manage this property we do not manage the maintenance of this building. This place was way overpriced and lacked flexibility and necessary updates. Even though it was vacant and cleaned we could not get in any earlier to enjoy the beach. The bed was old and sunken in in two spots. The bathroom was unbearable honestly. Moldy water damage around the vanity and shower. The toilet was so old. The exhaust fan was literally hanging from the ceiling. The windows that had screens had huge tears in them. The fireplace did not work. There was moldy rust above front windows. The view was spectacular thank goodness!

Great beach view.. nice corner balcony for more privacy …amenities inside adequate.. maybe some TLC needed for interior.. (bath-room faucets) On the last day neighbors above moved in and noise was surprising.. could almost make out conversations.But our over all impression was great.. and so convenient to amenities. We would surly book again.

The property was in terrible condition. The entire unit is in desperate need of painting especially the kitchen cabinets. The bathroom was a complete mess, the ceiling was coming down and the vanity was crumbling on the side. There was no luggage rack and the bedroom closet had no room for us to hang our clothes. There should also be a night stand on both sides of the bed. It was our first visit to Folly Beach and SC, we loved the area but the condition of the property caused us to leave.

Great location and beach view. We were nervous due to other reviews about the place being “dated”. We would call it beach comfy! We had everything we needed. The location is prime- amazing beach views and close to our favorite two places- Bert’s & Chico Feo. I can’t comment on the kitchen because we don’t cook on vacation. We watched sunrises and dolphins from our deck. When it got too hot outside we sat inside on the perfectly placed, very comfortable couches and enjoyed the view. So relaxing. We will be back!

Loved the location, the balcony is the absolute best. AC (esp the extra unit in the bedroom) was great and kept things super cool. Not the newest unit, so don’t expect lux. But we had the greatest time and the place was super cozy. Hit the spot getaway!

First time at Folly Beach

Loved the location so close to the water and to good restaurants in walking distance. Nice to park the car and not have to drive.The unit was clean and served our purpose. However, we are used to a different experience when spending this amount of money. The ice maker didn’t work and couldn’t get hot water out of the sink, to do dishes because there is no dishwasher. The unit is dated but that isn’t a big deal. Another surprise was pets. This unit didn’t allow pets but many of the other guests in the 12 units had pets. We are dog lovers but wanted to share. The beach is very nice and you cannot beat being able to walk a few minutes back to the condo!We loved Washout, Alfredo’s and Bert’s Market.

The location of this unit is great, with wonderful beach views. This unit is run down (sad). In need of some tlc & a face lift. (Front curtain & some of the blinds don’t close, hole in screen, strange odor, etc).

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the wonderful beach condo. It was perfect fur the two of us. The views of the sunrise on the beach were amazing. We loved making it or base to explore Charleston and surrounding areas. I’d love to return!

4 nights at Folly

The place is nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a wonderful location right on the beach and in walking distance of town. Our main disappointment was the kitchen area. The stove is old, with loose electric eyes that take a long time to heat up, and there is no prep room. We had hoped to cook quite a bit but really weren't able to. Other than that it's a nice place.

Time for a remodel

This place, at a minimum needs some deep cleaning, spackle, interior doors that close without force!, and some paint. Or even better, a total gut and rebuild. Its like two connected Motel 6 rooms on the beach. The location and view are great, but not much else. Also, we received an email a few days before our stay that the pest control company would drop by on either Monday or Tuesday between 9am and 6pm to treat the rental. So you know, just 2 full days wondering if the pest guys would show during a meal, kids shower, or even just while you were sleeping in…ahhhh what a relaxing vacation!!!

The refrigerator shelves are taped in the refrigerator and fell down when used. Ice maker didn’t work. Tell owner to spend some of the rental income for a new refrigerator Bed and view were great
