Welcome to the Seaside Getaway, a 3bd/2ba home located only a block from the beach and 3 blocks from Center St., putting you in the center of it all on Folly Beach! You`ll enter to an open living area flanked by the master bedroom with full ensuite bathroom on one side, and two additional bedrooms sharing a bathroom on the other. There is a large screened-in outdoor patio and a great backyard for the kids to play. So come enjoy living the laid back lifestyle on Folly, the `Edge of America`!

Visitors flock to Folly Beach for the same things its residents enjoy. You’ll find excellent pier and surf fishing, an enticing variety of restaurants and bars, live music, and some of the best surfing on the east coast.
Home is located: - 1 block to the 3rd St. West public access beach - 2 blocks to the Wave Watch Playground - 3 blocks to Center St., where all of the restaurants/bars/nightlife are on Folly - 1/2 mile to Bert`s Market, a local 24 hour market and convenient store - 1 mile to Folly Beach County Park - 25 minute drive to downtown Charleston
The home is walking distance to both the beach and Center St. so a vehicle is not needed once you are on Folly.
There are bike and golf cart rentals on Folly Beach for those that would like to explore the island a little further.
There is a driveway with parking for multiple vehicles.
CANCELLATIONS
Guests will receive a 95% refund up to 30 days before check-in. After that, no reservations are given.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT
A $500 damage deposit will be pulled from the card used for booking prior to the departure date. This deposit will be fully refundable to the card within 5-10 business days after departure if there are no claims made for damages.
HOUSE MANUAL
The house manual with all of the details needed for your stay will be sent out at 9am THE MORNING OF YOUR ARRIVAL directly in the message thread of the account used for booking.
Please do not ask for it earlier, or ask for it to be sent elsewhere.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
Your safety and comfort are our priority. In the unlikely event of a MANDATORY EVACUATION ORDER FOR CHARLESTON COUNTY during your stay, rest assured that both the Owner/Host and the Property Management Company WILL REFUND 100% OF YOUR PAYMENTS for the dates of evacuation. Once refunded, neither party will have further liability regarding your Reservation.
Please note that ONLY MANDATORY EVACUATIONS WILL QUALIFY FOR REFUNDS. No other travel disruptions due to weather, whether in South Carolina or other states, are eligible. For protection, consider travel insurance, especially in high-risk months like hurricane season. Airbnb`s insurance or other options are recommended.
INSECTS
As Charleston is situated in a warm, coastal climate it is possible to see insects inside or outside of the home at times. These include palmetto bugs, sand gnats, mosquitoes, ants, etc. Those who live in the Lowcountry just accept this as part of living here but it may be unsettling for those from other areas. The home is treated regularly for pest control but this will not entirely eliminate insects from getting inside at times. Please do your best to not keep doors and windows open and not leave food or drinks out in the home as this will attract insects. FINDING AN INSECT IS NOT CAUSE FOR A REFUND

Family Spring break
The place was very nice and clean. The location is great to the shops and restaurants as well as a very quick walk to the beach. Overall great stay and I would definitely come back to this location!
