Hotels with Shopping in Forks

Sensory review: I’m sensitive to lights and sound, otherwise this place would get 4.8 stars. The room was nice, the kitchenette was perfect. My son and I loved the electric heater/faux fire under the tv that changed to every color you can think of! The only thing I didn’t love about the room itself outside of my sensory stuff was that the bed was not very comfy and there were no side lamps in the bedroom. The overhead light (or the “big” light) in the sitting area is very bright and cold toned. Same with the light near the kitchenette. With no lamps in the space my options were to sit in darkness or have my eyeballs obliterated by the light. Luckily we didn’t spend a ton of time in the room so it wasn’t a deal breaker. Sound: we were on the first floor and every movement in the room above us sounded like the ceiling was about to fall. Squeaks and bangs all around. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels as I used to travel nationally for work and this is not your normal amount of sound. Still not a deal breaker because next time I’ll request a top floor room. I’ll bring a lamp to avoid the big light and some extra pillows for the bed and it’ll be perfect. Overall a great stay, just be aware that if you have sensory sensitivity like me, there’s a real bright big light and lots of noise on the bottom floor.

It was a good stopping point but was a bit pricey for what it was.

This is a beautiful area with cozy cabins right on the ocean. Ours was pet friendly. It had everything we needed. Very clean. Convenient midpoint location for exploring Hoh and Quinault. Easy access to walk down to the beach, and dogs on leash are allowed. A helpful set of information explaining how to get to various points of interest was available at check in. They have a text system that is extremely responsive to questions. We would absolutely recommend to our fellow pet loving travelers.
