Won’t be back

Room had some mold as well as rust. We did not take our shoes off until bed and wore our socks to bed in case we needed to get up during the night. My first impression when entering the room was to turn around and walk out, but it was only for one night so we didn’t leave. The entire place is way overdue for an upgrade. I will say the sheets seemed clean.

It was fine but room felt dirty, things were breaking in the bathroom, dirty walls and old decor. The sheets were clean it was fine but definitely not what it appeared to be in the pictures.

Fits the vibe of the area

Staff was attentive and pleasant. Simple breakfast available. Recently remodeled. Affordable and worth the cost. Would recommend providing larger garbage cans on the property. Full garbage bags were left outside rooms. If larger garbage cans were available on property rooms wouldn't have to keep as much garbage and it wouldn't be left out to attract animals and bugs.

What a great place. The owners were friendly and greeted us with chocolate chip cookies. The room was super clean and the grounds well taken care of. You can tell the owners take pride in their property. There was a bar/grill next door with a gorgeous view of the ocean, a convenience store next to that and I'll will stay with them next time we go thru San Simeon. This place is a gem and highly recommend staying here.

Photos on Expedia DO NOT represent what our room looked like! Checked in on a Wednesday & Thursday morning I heard the maid cart going by our room. I took our dirty towels out & gave them to the staff member and said we just need towels today. After that? The maid staff NEVER cleaned our room or provided clean towels/sherts. Our reservation was Wednesday-Sunday. Bathroom was so small the toilet paper holder was behind the door & the shower stall was the size of an RV shower. Dirt or mold on a wall .. bathroom floors had dirty grout. We did NOT walk on the laminate floors barefoot. Horrible place! Would have switched hotels but it takes Expedia multiple days to refund a card .. I have pictures of the room but didn’t see a way to attach them to my review

It was the worst hotel experience ive ever had. Listed as a kitchenette but stove didn't work not even any racks in oven had to move coffee pot to get it to work. Broken fireplace light out in bathroom. I paid 258 for one night never have had worse accommodations

The room was not maintained well. There was no dresser to store my clothes. No closet. No shelves in the bathroom to put toiletries on. I think there was mold on the walls in the shower. There was a very funky fireplace that did not work. It definitely needs a lot of work. It need these amenities in the room in order to bring customers back and it needs paint. The window covering was weird and ugly. That said it's wasn't a pleasant place to stay.
