You definitely get what you pay for. This property has not been renovated for nearly twenty years and it shows. The walls in the room needed to seriously be painted, as the paint was all scraped up and chipped. There was one towel in a room for two people. There was a pile of crumbs under the bed, left from at least the previous occupant. There was no blanket on the bed or in the room, just a thin sheet and a thin cover, not much more than a textured sheet. It was below 30° the night we stayed. There were wires taped into the wall, and the refrigerator froze everything on the top shelf. At least it was cold! The bed was hard and lumpy with springs. They also allowed the Colorado State flags that are flown outside to hang in ribbons. That is very disrespectful. And our room smelled like old pancakes.
On the positive side, the front desk agent we dealt with was quite friendly and accommodating. All in all, things could have been worse. At least there were no bugs, and that is always a good thing.
