The Beachcomer resort was a nice getaway for 4 days. We ate 3 times in their restaurant and service and food was very good. Included with the resort fee are chairs and umbrellas on the beach, which we thought was a nice perk. Only complaint I would have is that we asked for a partial ocean view room. It was not. We were 3rd floor on the pool side and the restaurant totally obstructed our view. If you're 4th floor and up, you can probably see the beach. We could not. It should have been labeled "pool view", which we did have!! We did not have a car and parking looked very limited. We like walking though, and you're about a mile from the pier and lots of restaurants. There is also a small brewery about a mile away in the opposite direction. So bring good walking shoes if you don't have a car!

This hotel is a 2 - 3 star on a good day. I think there are nicer villas on property from what other guests were saying. The hotel section is old and poorly renovated. I did like the choice of decor and common areas are nicely and correctly renovated. Booked a partial view of ocean and could barely see any of it, was a joke. Balcony’s are small and barely separated from neighbors. This place should not be called a resort - one understaffed restaurant, no gym. Employees seem nice but management seems poorly trained and unprofessional. You can rent a microwave if you need it, there’s a tiny refrigerator in room. Not one full length mirror you can see yourself in in the hotel room. Not one towel hook in the bathroom. $40 a day resort fee yet internet didn’t work, you couldn’t get a beach towel for anything, and 6 days and not one waitress on the beach asked if we needed anything. We had fun no matter what but

Valet took care of parking the rental. Reclining beach lounger chairs are included for guests at the beach along with beach towels. Live music at the restaurant bar each night we were there. Food and service was great. Coffee shop opened early to get that morning cup before making it out on the beach for sunrise. Rooms were fine and clean, balconys were just fine. Walk the beach down to the fishing pier at night was special and will always remember with my wife.

I really liked the pool being so close to the beach, available wait staff to get us drinks at the pool or beach, morning coffee in the lobby restaurant and proximity to restaurants and shops. The room was clean, nicely decorated and included a coffee maker. The balcony was amazing! Beautiful ocean views. I didn’t like how the keys never worked and we spent time going to the front desk and asking for new keys a lot. Overall, I would recommend this property to others.

Great grounds, poor room

The grounds were well maintained- pool area, beach and restaurants were great. The room (we stayed in a villa) was not great. The pull out bed had a mattress that must have been over 20 years old, toilet clogged (no plunger), door keys had to be reactivated daily and we only had our room serviced once - I would never stay in a villa again - maybe would give a regular room a try because grounds and location are nice

Perfect get away spot, food was great, grounds and beach are well kept…our room was very clean the bathroom was a little dated but in perfect shape. This was our first time there and we are planning a return visit. Special thanks to Junior at the front desk, Ricky and Judy behind the bar, Petra and Matt in the dining room and “Jake” the lovely young lady by the pool…I wish I could remember everyone’s name because they were all great!

This property was beautiful & all of the staff were so friendly and genuine. The view was gorgeous from our room and we had a balcony. Having the restaurant on the resort was convenient too and a beautiful view as well. Only thing that I would say needs updated is the elevator- it was a little outdated / made noises that sounded a bit scary

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beachcomber. This is an older building that has undergone some significant renovation. We stayed a few nights, on second floor and the 4th floor. Although there was a bit better view of the ocean on the 4th floor, the fan from the restaurant was a bit noisy and the exhaust from the kitchen was a bit unpleasant when on the balcony, which we used often. The staff was very friendly and our rooms when well appointed with new decor and large modern TV. The Kiki bar and beach side restaurant were excellent! The Pompano pier is a short walk and offers more restaurants and entertainment. The valet parking was also appreciated and efficient.

Run down and not how it was described on Expedia. Very disappointed. Arrived late after 10 hours of driving through wildfires. Would have switched hotels had I known how bad this place is.
