Had high hopes for our stay here. Looked beautiful in the photos and previous reviews were mostly positive. Unfortunately, our honest review cannot be positive. Our suite was infested with bugs. Check your room before you unpack! We have never had this issue before so we started to unpack, went for dinner, came back up to finish unpacking and then noticed the bugs. By that point they were in our suitcases. Disgusting. Front desk told us they would move us but getting a suite with 2 beds, similar to what we already paid, for was a struggle. They offered to downgrade us to a room with 2 beds which is unacceptable after we paid a lot for a suite. We were finally upgraded to a 2 bedroom 2 bed suite. This suite was quite nice. No bugs! But, after all this is said and done, it was past 10pm and we still had to comb through our belongings for bugs that might have been brought with us between the room change. It was a long night to say the least. And this shouldn’t have happened. We appreciated that we were compensated with complimentary breakfast. The pool and beach area were both nice. Restaurants were pretty decent. Most staff were friendly. Upon checkout we were charged for a pitcher of margaritas that we never ordered. They left us standing at the front desk for over 15 minutes while they pulled the receipt and sure enough this wasn’t something we ever ordered or signed for. They never apologized for this. We asked if this happens often and we were told they didn’t know?!

This resort is run perfectly. Super friendly staff and lots of fun stuff for the kids to do like basketball and volleyball on the beach, mini golf, ping pong, and the cute soda shop. Has an old school charm yet kept up so nice. We’ve been twice now and will Definitely go back. Highly recommend!!

This was truly a relaxing vacation! The resort has the food and beverages everyone wants and the ocean if that's your thing and then two pools. The only downside was we booked a balcony room. We got it; looking at the roof. If they are advertising a balcony room it should be that because on our vacation we didnt even sit out there.

Always enjoy the room and the beach. The resort is spectacular. Wry sad to see that Jaime left and the beach chairs are run by a different company(the Bouchon brothers). We did not like the fact that now we have to pay $75 for 2 chairs which are very uncomfortable and my husband who has a bad back cannot get up( he has to sit in his own chair and they gave him a hard time.) We do not like the fact that the small blue beach chairs are no longer complementary with our stay. Not happy at all with this new company.

What a gem of a resort!

1 night stay after traveling back from the Keys, and catching a flight out of FLL. Definitely didn't want to leave, the place is beautiful, with a classic 50's feel, but yet modern enough. Stayed in a huge room, which was very unexpected, and the service, friendliness of the staff was top notch. Will be coming back here for a family vacation next year!

Beautiful beach and pool area and the staff was excellent -from the bellman to the front desk to the soda shop, resort shop and cabana reservation staff were all excellent as any 5 star hotels. The rooms had comfortable bedding but the decor is dated and the bathroom had some pests.
