Family friendly hotel

Nice family friendly hotel with private beach, pool. Room was a little outdated but can't beat walking out from the back porch directly into the beach. The beach was clean and not crowded at all. Food options for lunch by the pool were perfect for little kids and adults alike. We went for a long weekend as well only live an hour away. Did the science museum one day, a dinner show at Mai Kai one night, and dinner/ice cream on Las Ola's another night. Our kids had a blast.

This is a well-kept establishment and it was a pleasurable time spent. The service was wonderful and the personnel equally so. What's more, free parking and no need to wait for someone to bring your car to you. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel for a family trip to Fort Lauderdale. Location was away from the main bar area of the beachfront. Pool, direct access to beach, and kid friendly amenities were great for our toddler, and made it so we didn't have to leave the resort to have fun. Additionally, the size of the room (deluxe suite) was perfect, and didn't feel cramped. Keeping the review from 5 stars was not being able to check in at 4pm when we arrived due to them "selling out" the night before, and the somewhat dated decor. Everything was well maintained, however the interior parts if the hotel could use some modernization.

We have always wanted to stay here, but did not have the opportunity. This place is quiet with an air old Florida luxury. Starting with the mosaic tile floors in the lobby, the chandeliers and the warm hospitality of each staff member, you will feel at home. The beach, the boutique, the service and concierge all make any concerns melt away. The bar is intimate and the bar tender Ebony is first class. She takes it to an educated level, she knows how to make any cocktail you can imagine and makes the bar experience a welcoming time. The location is perfect on the beach nestled among a neighborhood. Not part of the rowdy area of Fort Lauderdale.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. Our only issue was at check-in. Check in time is 4pm and when we arrived at 4:12, we were told there were no clean rooms for us. Dene, the supervisor, asked to take our number so she could call us when our room was available. We asked why there were no rooms at check-in time. She said housekeeping was still working. We let her know that we had been driving all day and we were exhausted. She found a room for us, 569. She gave us our card and hotel pamphlet. I didn’t realize we were done so I was still standing there. She looked at me and said, “did you have another room you need to check into?” I told her no and then she took the next guest in line. We were never told where to park, how to get to our room or anything about the hotel. We ended up finding a guest that was sitting in the common area to help us find the elevator. Despite this, our stay was amazing. Good thing we didn’t let it ruin our vacation.
