My 19-year-old daughter and I stayed here for three nights. We got here early because of an early flight and we were able to check in right after we ate lunch on the property. The food and service was excellent throughout our stay. There are electric bikes right outside and we used them to go to the Las Olas area. You can walk to dining in either direction. They have a complimentary shuttle to bring you to dinner which was a nice option since we didn’t have a car. I couldn’t get over how friendly everyone is here—at the resort and off. Beautiful views of beach and ocean from our balcony. We will definitely be back and recommend to friends.

The room and view were beautiful. The wait staff on the beach was very pleasant and I loved the option to order food and drinks to my beach chair. It was great the hotel provided beach, chairs and umbrellas. Some staff was not pleasant, but overall it was a great stay.

This is our second year to come back to the Pelican to celebrate the wife and I’s anniversary. And again it did not disappoint, John and Daniel are such awesome waiters along with the entire staff.. Mike the bar tender was awesome.. so many great people and the resort itself is amazing with amazing dining and lazy river. Management has done an outstanding job and I’m sure we will be back for our 3rd straight year next year! -Clint and Ali from OKC

We had a wonderful stay. The beach service was great! Rooms were beautiful and spacious. Some areas were really worn. The steps to the beach, the tiles in the pool. The pool seemed small for the size of the hotel. No pool bar open. Staff were kind and courteous. Overall a nice stay. The property seemed like it needed some updating

The property appears a bit weathered and dated. The interiors of the rooms are clearly renovated, but still have areas where you can see weathering (ie baseboards in bathroom). The common areas are weather worn/dated. The pool is rather small. Staff was helpful and friendly. Food was decent in the bar. Not a bad place to stay, just not quite what we had in mind based on photos online at time of booking.

Not great standard for the price we paid. Pool and lazy river look much bigger on pictures than really are. The most of the staff were friendly. We requested two rooms next to each other and when we arrived one of the rooms was dirty, so they offered us room on different floor which was very inconvenient for us. Overall wasn’t bad experience but you can get the same stay in better price.

Every item had a cost associated with it. Only valet parking. Very overpriced facility. Other than pricing it was an OK stay. Hope this helps.

Expectations were higher. I made a double reservation about 3 months prior the actual stay. My mom was visiting from Europe and I only see her once a year. I requested that we stayed in the same floor (I called them right after the reservation) they said that they would try to accommodate our request… they put in the 3rd floor and she was on the 8th floor. Ridiculous.., they gave me a runaround of why this didn’t work. I even tried to have a manager call me the day after we check in… nothing. There were only 2 girls in the front desk that were nice, all the other staff were dismissive and rude. The older woman in the coffee shop was rude, female hostess in the restaurant was rude and lack customer service (manager there was nice) The room we stayed at had a lot of issues, brokenAC, broken balcony door, the bathroom door would not fully close, we were a family of 4 so that was inconvenient. We were put in the laundry floor so we would be woken up very early and I talked to the front desk right away about this but they couldn’t switch our room. The only good 2 things were the beach was right there and the bed was comfortable but overall I do not recommend this hotel. We will never stay here again

10/10 one nights stay pre-cruise! Nicole at the front reception gave a warm welcome, and all other staff we encountered were also super friendly. Lovely beach - be sure to book the oceanfront room with balcony. We will be back for a longer stay next time.
