Positives: price, location (very close to the beach). Flexible, cozy and easy check in/check out process. Negative: one of the rooms (15) was vey outdated. The smell was horrendous. The AC didn’t work properly and the bathroom toilet was broken.

Sea step s is a reasonably prices place to stay in Pompano beach. The rooms are well worn but kept up well. The kitchens are a great perk helping keep your costs down by not having to eat every meal out($$). Plus you have somewhere to store some ice cream treats for those hot muggy days (all of them.) pool is clean and well kept

Disappointed Stay at Sea Steps – Not Worth the Price I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, my experience at Sea Steps in Miami fell far below expectations. The location is great, and that’s about where the positives end. From the moment I arrived, things felt off. The room was not properly cleaned—there was sand on the floor, hair in the shower, and a faint smell of mildew that never quite went away. I tried to brush it off, but it made relaxing difficult. The air conditioning barely worked, which in Miami heat is not just uncomfortable—it’s unbearable. What really surprised me, though, was the noise. Despite advertising a peaceful atmosphere, the walls are paper thin, and I could hear everything from the rooms next door and outside. Sleep was almost impossible. To top it off, some of the amenities listed online were either broken or missing entirely. I’m not usually one to write negative reviews, but this stay was genuinely disappointing—especially for the price. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues for future guests. I wouldn’t want others to have the same experience I did.

Can walk 1 block to the beach. Staff was friendly and responsive to our needs. Property isn't brand new, but it is cozy, not overcrowded, and parking was easily available.

This property was wonderful for our stay and price. But i would say there were a few areas of concerns that I would’ve liked to read within the reviews. The rooms are definitely re-done but not completely. There still is paint chips in the walls, wood on the shelves is peeling back and water pressure issues. The room was clean but we had two different beds and bed frames in our one room ( one extremely comfortable the other rock hard). Additionally, there was large gaps around the door. You could see the sun shining in and even when people would walk past. Not the most settling feeling for insects or geckos or such to potential come in. We had to use a towel to block the wide gap at the bottom of the door. Pool area and garden was lovely and just a short 2 min walk to the beach. Walking distance to the main pier as well! Felt safe the entire trip at this motel. Overall, for the price it’s listed as it’s worth the money and we enjoyed our stay overall!

Should have more lounge chairs outside and umbrellas. Our refrigerator did not work. They didnt have another to give us. It froze everything in the refrigerator.. The pool needed more attention. We were there for 8 days only saw a pool guy once. Never vacuumed pool. Needs more chlorine, pretty cloudy. An ice machine would have been nice. The gentlemen that cleans the outside property was very nice and kept things in order . Would recommend this place
