The views and staff are amazing, but the suite was very musty. I've listed the pros and cons of this resort. Pros: The oceanfront view from our second-floor room was absolutely incredible! We had a perfect view of swaying palm trees, the soft sand, and the rolling waves. The living room and balcony were perfect for enjoying the scenery. The staff were also fantastic—friendly, helpful, and genuinely eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Cons: When we first entered our room, the scent of a strong room deodorizer hit us, which quickly faded. However, the underlying musty/moldy odor became more noticeable the next morning. Unfortunately, there are no windows with screens or ways to ventilate the room, and the balcony door has a list of rules that specifically state you shouldn’t prop it open. This made it hard to air out the mustiness, and as a result, I struggled with allergies during our stay—my nose was constantly runny, and I couldn’t sleep more than six hours each night. To be fair, my husband didn’t notice the smell, but I’m quite sensitive to odors and have mold allergies. If you're sensitive to these issues, it might be worth looking into other lodging options.

The staff and Richard the proprietor, was very engaging. The setting is idyllic, directly on the beach and the view from our balcony was framed by palm trees and the sounds of the surf.

Well, the clean room didn’t write high out of our seven day stay our room wasn’t clean twice so I had to go down and get extra towels and coffee for the room however, Marcos, shnee Shanae. And Richard were most welcoming sweet and helpful. This was our second stay there and we will be back again. Hopefully we get a room with an ocean view instead of number 506.

I was impressed with the warm welcome and the quick and easy check-in process. The hotel is located right off the beach and close to many shops and restaurants. My room was clean and comfortable. I highly recommend the Sea Lord hotel and suites for short and long stays.

After a long trip to get to this hotel we were very disappointed that the restaurant that was advertised as being open for all meals was completely closed so no food at all. Was told the restaurant was not open because the owner was not there, strange. That was our first disappointment. When entering our room the first thing we discovered was a dirty rag in the sheets which I took to the front desk. This female staff member was very apologetic about this. On the last morning the toilet would not work after several tries, so final straw. We were so disappointed we decided to leave a day early but we could not inform anyone because there are no staff members on duty at night or early in the morning when we attempted to checkout. When trying to call front desk a security guard answered but said there was nothing he could do and that someone would be in at 8am. Went to the front desk at 7:45am While there waiting there was another guest that was disappointed and also attempting to check early. We waited until 8:10 and no front desk person showed up We left a note at the front desk that we were leaving and to please credit our room for that day and to call us to confirm. A male staff member did call and said it should be no problem but he had to ok it with a manager and would call back. When he called again he said they would not credit the room back to us and they had checked and the toilet was fine, very strange.

They had free internet however their internet connections did not work. There was a total of 5 choices we could connect to and the connection would last 1 minute then disconnect. Very very frustrating. If internet is something you use a lot or run a business this place is not good

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. The exterior around the pool and leading out to the beach was nicely decorated and well kept. There was some construction/remodeling going on but things are looking like new. The kitchen/chef was taking a break in the off-season but there are many restaurants/bars about an eight minute walk down the road.

This hotel was so nice, right on the beach. Our room had a wonderful view of the ocean, the balcony is very large. Staff were great. Would definitely stay again.
