We enjoyed our stay at Tru Hotel Pompano Beach, it's literally less than 100 steps from the ocean, the rooms were fresh and clean. Delicious continental breakfast. Wonderful swimming pool and jacuzzi. Perfect location within walking distance to dining and shopping. Exceptional staff!

At check-in, we were forced to wait for 50 minutes under the pretext that the room was not ready. I have a suspicion why. The receptionist at the time was finishing her shift (at 3 PM) and likely didn’t want to deal with our registration, so she asked us to wait 15–20 minutes. My patience ran out after 50 minutes. By then, a different woman was at the front desk, who had no idea about our situation. When I expressed my frustration, instead of apologizing, she merely asked if I had been drinking. That’s all you need to know about the competence of the hotel staff. Thanks to the Expedia managers, we were granted a one-hour late check-out, but we deliberately chose not to use it on principle. This is the first time I’ve experienced such a situation in my life, despite my extensive travel experience. But the staff on breakfast was very kind. Thank you so much for that!

I have been to the hotel before and I can tell that the sanitation has decreased, bedsheets did not felt clean, the rugs were dirty as well, and even the breakfast as lowered it's quality.

Simply beautiful! Rooftop Pier 6 bar was great! Astoria made one of the best old fashions! Beautiful overlook of beach! Pool could have mod lounge chairs but other than that fabulous trip

I enjoy staying at TRU hotels, I particularly liked this one because of its rooftop bar and everything was close for walking distance. I was staying here to see a friend so I didn’t really get to enjoy most of its amenities that it had to offer but the bed was comfortable. It comes with a pool and a hot tub connected to the pool but unless you are a morning bird for the hot tub, be prepared to almost always see it full at night. I think it should be some kind of limit for how long people can use the hot tub as there are many guest that want to get in it as well. I also saw a bug crawling in my bed which was a huge turn off for my comfort. I wouldn’t mind coming back to this location I just hope I get to change my review when I do. Thanks for reading!

Hotel was comfortable but the staff needs to improve their performance. There was one gentleman who got the things done, rest you had to asked more that 3 times. We were family of 4 and they only put 2 bath towels in the bathroom everyday. Friends had same thing going on. We kept asking, finally we figured out where towels were. Coffee was so light , you could not call it coffee. We kept complaining , nothing was done to brew stronger coffee: They blamed it on wrong coffee being ordered. Parking is overpriced at the hotel. $25 / day. We finally found a parking across the street by fire station for $75 for about 2 weeks. You buy a parking tag in the office in the parking garage where they charge you $25 per day- you just need to keep asking . Rooftop is beautiful. Pool is good but not enough chairs for that many guests. Breakfast was full-fling. Pretty good choices just the coffee was light!!!!! I would recommend but staff needs to be more accommodating . Rooms floor and shower need good cleaning. I washed my floor with the towel to have it clean

We loved this place! They took us in at night after a bad experience at another place. The kept their professionalism, friendliness, and wonderful service. Breakfast was a variety and great! Products in the room were sufficient and they refilled when asked right away. Everything is close by walking distance. Wonderful places, live music at Luckys! We are coming back again!
