I highly recommend Waves on Desoto. The room was clean and was stocked with just about everything you’d need during your stay. I especially appreciated the beach chairs and the use of the onsite bicycles. The heated pool was nice, as well. The check in process was easy. The beach is just a short walk away. The property manager, Vicki, was especially helpful. She checked with me during my stay to make sure everything was going well. I had a great stay & hope to return again!

Room was awesome! Location was amazing! The amenities were awesome, they had beach chairs, umbrella & even a small cooler you can use while you are there. The walk to the private beach was short and easy. Absolutely loved it and I would stay here again.

Room had to be changed because of plumbing issue. Changed to another unit very close to beach. Would have been nice to have a kitchen table to eat at. Hot water did not work to take a shower. Codes sent to get into unit was incorrect. Several texts back and forth to obtain information. Majority of the first day was completely wasted Then didn't have a place to park until cleaning people left the available spot. The unit other than all of the mishaps was beautiful and well maintained. She did try her best to accommodate our stay.

Clean quiet and less than a 5 minute walk to beautiful Hollywood beach. We watched the sunrise from the beach. Walked less than a 1/4 mile back to the room. The staff is exceptionally communicative and friendly. Loved this place we will be back I. A few weeks.

The room was clean, but the property seems very neglected. A property should not be allowed to state that it’s on the beach when it’s not directly on the beach! Yes, I knew from the photos that it wasn’t on the beach, but that doesn’t change the fact that the details note the property is on the beach. Some of the chairs around the pool aren’t usable. The decorative greenery in the pool area is falling off the wall… This could be a great property! The properties around it look way better. Staff was great via text.

Vickie responded to questions within minutes - one of the most responsive property managers I have dealt with. The small apartment/kitchen was just what we were looking for. We ate breakfast in and lunch and dinner out. Tiki Tiki was our favorite restaurant. The pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature even during the cold snap. Pool toys were provided for kids. The beach is less than 1 block away and beach chairs and umbrella were provided. The price was right. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and met wonderful people in our little apartment complex! Thank you for a relaxing after holiday break!

The place was lovely. The location is terrific! 450’ from the ocean. My only issues were petty. The toilet paper roll holder was missing the bar to roll the paper on. The stairs to the upper level are a serious problem for 80 year olds. Very bad lighting!
