Affordable for a quick get away. Elevator doesn't work since the Hurricane 3yrs ago. We stayed on 4th floor and that became a horrible exercise. If you're older, stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor max.

Great property right on the beach with pool. Room was spacious and had a balcony, kitchen and in room washer/dryer. Only bad thing was we were on the 4th floor and elevators weren’t working.

I had a beautiful view of the ocean and surrounding area from the balcony. The room was perfect for 1 or 2 people and was equipped with everything needed in a kitchen, the room was clean, floor was clean, usually at a beach the floors feel damp, not here. the building was far enough from the edge of the village to hear the karaoke bar ,b ut far enough away to not be bothered by the loud music. Light out at 9pm for the turtles is wonderful you can actually see the stars. The beach is clean, the visitors to the beach cleanup their stuff before leaving which was a wonderful surprise. Every morning the patio was hosed off, the pool was very clean, the security was a pleasant and enjoyable person to talk to, the front desk personal were also pleasant and enjoyable to speak with. I had a restful vacation and plan to stay there again soon.

We absolutely loved our trip to Fort Myers Beach! Edison Beach House was the perfect place for our stay. It is an older building but very well kept and clean. The elevator was currently out of service since they reopened and we were on the 5th floor. Thankfully this was okay for us. (They did call us in advance to make sure this worked for us.) We were within walking distance to everything yet far enough away when we didn't want to be part of the action. The beach was great and we absolutely loved the fact that they had a closet full of stuff for us to use at the beach (chairs, floaties, etc.). The front desk people were very friendly and helpful when we spoke with them. The only thing I wished they had was a few umbrellas to use on the beach (there was one but we couldn't get it in the ground) but we spent most of our time in the ocean anyway. Washer and dryers and all the kitchen appliances were a huge plus and we had an amazing view from the top floor!! Highly recommend!!

Wonderful

Loved this place. It was so clean and comfortable. The price for a beach front room was very reasonable. The staff were so nice. They really go above and beyond in making their guests happy. I can’t wait to come again.
