Overall the facility was OK, but my room did not have a functioning mirror - kinda inconvenient for fixing hair or makeup. Altho I did mention this at the front desk and they said that maintenance would fix it, that did not happen. I can understand that they are still repairing things that were lost in the hurricane, I would have thought that the rooms they actually rented would be 100%

Saw a giant cockroach in my room & something bit me while I was in bed? I don’t think it was bedbugs because it was only on my arm and left side, like eight bites altogether. They are TRYING really hard and I can see that, just not executing. There DJ doesn’t know how to “work the crowd” I told one of the security guys this and he say “oh he sure does” I could only laugh, I ran one of the top 10 nightclubs in the USA, the DJ sounded like he was playing for STRIPPERS in a stripclub. And I didn’t like that boats parked right where you wanted to be in the water! Too close to shore IMO. Ok place but needs more POLISHING.

This was my first visit to Lani Kai resort .The views were spectacular and that oceanview was amazing from the balcony. I didn't like the fact that there were no iron / ironing in the rooms and then the ones that was offered was the table top ones 🤔 you can't iron anything on them but a sock. All the rooms had different items in them microwaves in some and not in others. You pay a decent amount of money to stay there lets make some changes to make it better. Food was good need a bigger selection on the menu.

I booked this hotel because I searched “family friendly hotels” and this came up with good reviews. When we got there, we realized that it’s more of a party hotel. There are a ton of bars on property. The staff was very nice and the first floor was gorgeously updated (where check in is) Grace’s cafe was really good too. But when you’re on the ground floor, it looks like somewhere you spring break… I also got a flat tire because they have screws and nails in their parking lot. So I spent $200 to fix the flat and now have to buy a new tire. My husband and I were traveling with our 14 month old daughter and we let her out on the patio while we sat out there on the chairs enjoying the view. My daughter was in the corner quiet, so we asked her what she was doing and she turned around with a cigarette butt in her mouth! Everything appeared to be clean until we saw that. I know they’re still going through construction and tried to give some grace, but the tire and the cigarette butt really pissed me off.
