Everything was meticulous. Nice pool area with excellent lunches and drinks. Right on the beautiful Sanibel beach, short drive to shops and restaurants. Since our room was ready, they let us check in at noon, a very pleasant surprise!

We Loved our 1st visit at Sanibel Island Beach Resort....the Resort was clean and beautiful. The room was fantastic, we loved the pool and tiki bar.. definately be back!

Sanibel Island Beach Resort has been beautifully restored since the devastating hurricane. We loved the pool and beach areas. The beach chairs are a big plus. The food from the restaurant, which we had three nights while sitting by the pool looking out at the beach, was delicious. The only negatives were our room, which was on the first floor, smelled a bit musty or moldy and the shower didn’t drain well. The woman at the front desk said it was because of people taking showers with sand on them. She said they try to be proactive but it still happens. Makes sense I guess. Don’t really understand why people don’t wash sand off before coming into the room…especially since there’s a warm shower outside by the pool for that very reason! Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

The property was overall nice , however not worthy of 400 a night . There was nothing special , no coffee bar in am , small Keurig with powder creamer , nothing upscale to be worthy of resort status. This area has been through multiple hurricanes so to see how clean it is already just shows how passionate the area is to get it back on track to make it enjoyable. Beautiful beaches, incredible humble people. For a short relaxing getaway that we’re looking for, it was perfect.
