Husband says 3 because breakfast was weak - I say 5 because dog friendly even though rough rocks - but for the price you can’t beat it especially for just a quick overnight stay. Thus the 4 rating. Room was clean, towel and shower curtain a little frayed on the edge - but, no sign of mold like we have seen in upper end hotels. 2 stories with no elevator. They had a propane BBQ and a charcoal one too with outdoor seating. Staff was very nice. Rooms had a microwave and a refrigerator that froze my one bottle of water-lol. No herbal tea - lol. Breakfast had muffins, raisin and white bread, bananas and instant oatmeal, eggs and waffles - ok husband spoiled, - I’m changing to a 5 - if i can. Great price for dog friendly

It was fine for a place to crash after a very long day in Big Bend NP. Budget friendly, near Walmart and gas. Nothing special. Breakfast wasn’t good.
