It was a basic place to stay. It was clean and cool. We have friends that live in Ft Davis and the scenery is great. This is the second time we have stayed here on the way to the Viva Big Bend Music Festival. It's near the road to the McDonald Observatory. The motel is also close to the Balmorhea State Park spring fed pool.
