Upon arrival at hotel the air conditioning in our room did not work. We went to the front desk and informed them. She was rude but sent someone quickly and he fixed the unit. Once it was running, we left the room to pick up our son and upon on returning the air conditioning had once again stopped working and had a strong burning smell. We informed the front desk (different lady) and she was rude too. She came up and tried resetting the breaker, however the unit was burned up. I asked to be placed into a different room. She was not happy to accommodate but did find us a new room. The hotel is doing renovations which is much needed. The new room smelled much better but was dingy. The carpet was dingy and the couch had stains. However, the bed was comfortable. The TV remote didn't work. I had to go to the front desk and asked if they could change the batteries in the remote and she just sighed at me and gave me a new remote. I just can't believe how rude the front desk employees are at Hyatt. We went for breakfast the next morning and there were plenty of tables but not a single clean one to sit at. Their was hardly any food left and there was still an hour before breakfast closed. Such a disappointing stay. I'm glad they are renovating because it is much needed. Hopefully, the front desk attitudes gets "renovated" too.

A great property in need of an update

The hotel is under renovation, which is a good thing as the property is showing a lot of wear. The overall upkeep of the hotel is very poor, which is disappointing. Ten years ago this was a property that was well maintained. Only one elevator was available, which led to long waits on the weekend when the hotel was very busy. Housekeeping was very efficient and the breakfast was very good.

The rooms have more space than a typical hotel room. Double beds and a pull out couch could sleep 6. The seating area was comfortable and the partial divider gave a bit more separation to the room, felt like 2 rooms. Clean, modern, good breakfast (hot, cold options). I would definitely stay here again

This property is under renovation & it needs to be. I’m sure 6m from now it will be great. The rooms are clean, beds are comfy, & the water pressure is fantastic. Oddly enough though, when we checked in the water wouldn’t turn on. It was resolved fairly quickly, but was pretty frustrating. The carpets in the hallway are coming up - but they are actively updating the hotel. On the downside, that means the hammers, saws, & drills start up by 9am. So for us, arriving at 2am, not being able to hop in & take showers on arrival & then not being able to sleep in any, it just wasn’t the best experience.

There were shipping containers all around the building. Not as nice as it was 5 years ago. Property went down A LOT! Tub had trouble draining, hallway carpet lumpy and frayed. First room air conditioner was not working so had to change rooms. Years ago awesome, now meh!!!!!

I never saw any information on Orbitz that this property was under renovation. Actually, it is so bad it should not be offered to people. The curtains are falling apart, the carpet is coming out. In summary, if I would know it was under renovation, I would not made a reservation with them. Won't see me again
