Hotel is a bit scruffy and run down in places. Room was clean other than the shower cubicle which could do with a good scrub! Road outside ( our view along with scaffolding) was fairly noisy most of the night and had to close windows despite the heat. On the plus side breakfast was fresh and plentiful and staff were all friendly and helpful. Quite pricey for what it was.

This well-appointed hotel is right on the shore of Lough Linnhe, with its own beach, garden, terrace and free parking. The staff are lovely - efficient, helpful and full of smiles. Although it did at first seem a little pricey at £200-plus per night in May, this included a good breakfast. Our room in the main hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, had a lovely view and modern facilities, including a decent smart TV - a rarity, it seems in the Scottish Highlands! The restaurant was reasonably priced and offered wonderful wide views. A great base from which to explore this spectacular area.
