Well was not very impressed with this lake house and the host. They decided to text me the day of arrival to tell us that we can’t use back yard or the games down stairs. That is one of the reasons we booked this place was the game room, backyard and lake. Most of the porch patio when we got there was all ripped so thank goodness. I brought some chairs from home so that we can all sit. And two hours before we arrived she told us that people had dogs lock downstairs and all the games were broken and it smelt like dogs through the whole kitchen and living room. they had construction going on the weekend. We were there and didn’t mention anything until two hours before we were supposed to arrive. Bathroom upstairs as rust and mold. We have tried to contact the host multiple times about at least getting some of our money back because we spent quite a bit on it for four days for 20 people. They decide to stop replying. My family found a used syringe and needle while we were at the lake which is on their property. Glass all in the sand at the lake. Kitchen was supposed to be fully equipped. Thank goodness I brought my pants and we had to go buy a lot of stuff for the kitchen like a can opener. They have crockpots base there, but they don’t have the actual bowl for the crockpot. I was walking down the stairs in the kitchen and completely sliced my toe open because the of the ledge. It’s just falling apart, so it’s not safe.They had all the smoke detectors unconnected.
