Be prepared to make some special memories, enjoying a glass wine under the shade of our Pecan trees or on our wrap around porch. This home is stylish, eclectic, & unique. Perfect for a girls or family getaway with a unique room layout. The kitchen is fully stocked and you'll absolutely love our outdoor spaces!

This special home was built in 1984 for Alice. Since then it has been expanded an updated into the charming home it is today. We have added additional updates throughout the entire house including renovated bathrooms, an additional private 3rd shower all featuring modern rain shower heads, and mid century tile accents. We have remodeled the 3 car garage into a yoga/free weight all equipped Gym with yoga mats, a smart TV, Fans, and spinning bike for your personal enjoyment and fitness needs. We know you'll enjoy the eclectic, mid century yet farm country style accents our unique home has to offer.

Outdoor Space (s):

We have now added a Cowboy pool to enjoy from cooling off the summer heat. There are plenty of amazing outdoor sitting spaces that you'll get to enjoy while catching up with friends or family and or cooking out, star gazing. We have a fire pit area, stocked with wood and marshmallow skewers ready for those perfect smore's roasting.

About the Bedrooms- we gladly accommodate up to 12 guests with shared beds or 7 individuals with 1 person per bed/bedroom.

Our home is perfect for a girls getaway or family gathering. In regards to exceeding 3-4 couples, please read the description below regarding our unique layout.

**ABOUT THE BEDDING SPACE-** PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY & VISIT OUR VIRTUAL TOUR

The bedding layout was maximized for additional sleeping arrangements. We converted several of the attached original large closet spaces into bedrooms to maximize and accommodate more sleeping arrangements/guests. We also added a separate AC unit to ensure added comfortability for our upstairs guests.

More about the Bedrooms:

You will find the master bedroom located downstairs with a king bed and en suite shower/bath.

Also downstairs you will find an added gorgeous shower and detached half bathroom adjacent to the mudroom.

There is also a half bath and sink in the garage/gym.

Upstairs you’ll find the remainder of the bedrooms/sleeping arrangements.

Immediately upstairs you will find our OPEN loft with a Queen bed and Available pull out -Full Sofa bed - picture featured with yellow sofa and chest board

To the right of the stairs there is a Full Bed-Bedroom (Pink Triangle Room), with ANOTHER private bedroom INSIDE featuring a Queen Bed (Floral Wallpaper Room) These 2 rooms share an entry and exit door but can be closed off privately to one another with a door in between.

To the back of the Loft there is another Master Bedroom with a queen bed & en-suite shower/bath. (Room with hanging plants) This room also has a private entrance and exit that leads to the side or front entrance/porch of the house.

Adjacent to the upstairs master BR INSIDE is another private bedroom featuring a full bed (we like to call the Plant room since it has lots of plants inside). Both the Upstairs Master and Full Bedroom share an entry and exit door but have a privacy door in between bedrooms.

All of the upstairs bedrooms currently share the 1 shower/bath located inside the upstairs master bedroom. We have added a gorgeous 3rd private shower adjacent to the half bath located in the mud room area for additional shower accommodations.

This home was the perfect getaway for a girl’s weekend to celebrate a friend’s 60th birthday in Fredricksburg. We had 8 women in the house, and we all slept comfortably- the birthday girl and her sister shared the king bed in the primary suite and everyone else had their own bed. Elizabeth was an amazing host and made everything so easy for our group. She even had champagne iced down at our arrival and a sweet personal note for the birthday girl. Every single one of us said that we would definitely book this home again. Thanks to Elizabeth for sharing her beautiful home!!

I booked this home for a weekend birthday trip with a few friends and let me tell you.. everyone had nothing but good things to say about the house. I was clean and each room had their own personality which everyone loved. The host even added a special touch and wished me a happy birthday! I arrived to a sweet note, wine and a chocolate bar-very thoughtful and was a sweet surprise to come to upon arrival. The backyard was also very nice. Everyone sat on the porch at one point. You can say we all enjoyed our stay. Location of the house was nice (close to everything). We did end up breaking one curtain rod while cleaning right before we left, and although we tried to fix it it wasn't a "fixable" thing. I did let the host know and offered to replace it since it was a tiny hook that came loose (essentially broken) other than that tiny mishap we had no issues. Would definitely stay here again if the host allows us.

House was great! Location was very nice. The pool pump broke but they sent someone out fast to clean it so we could use it for a couple days. We used every amenity this home had and we were very pleased with our stay.

Amazing House!

Alice’s Haus was an amazing house. Had a family gathering to visit Fredericksburg and Alice’s Haus was beautiful setting for our visit. Enjoyed the fire pit and yard games. Well equipped kitchen allowed us to make lovely large meals.

Beautiful House

We were three families (10 people) staying at Alice’s Haus after Christmas. The house is lovely, lots of space and had a nice holiday feel as well. The outdoor area was great with fire pit, large wrap around porch, even a gym and laundry in the garage. Kitchen was well stocked. We loved it!

Great Bachelorette Home

This house had plenty of room for 8 of us. The beds were comfortable and each room had an additional fan unit in case you run hot or like the noise. The kitchen was larger than I expected and was fully equipped with what we needed. The Halloween decorations were the most delightful touch!!

Family Birthday

House was exactly as advertised, beautiful and perfect for our group of 10 adults. Enough beds and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable and have enough space. House has absolutely everything you could want or need. It is not walking distance to Main Street, but the short drive (5 minutes) was not an issue for us as we had multiple cars. I would recommend this house to any large group looking for a wonderful house to host a family event.

Adorable home a short drive from downtown

My family came to Fredericksburg for a birthday and stayed at Alice’s Haus. It had a lot of personality in the way it was decorated, and had every amenity we needed for a party of 11, including enough towels, dish-wear, parking spaces, a fire pit, rocking and hanging chairs on the wrap around porch, and even a Bluetooth speaker that we could move around the house with us! We also loved the garage gym for light morning workouts! It was about a 5 min drive/uber to the downtown area. The hosts were always quick to respond if we had a question or concern and we would definitely choose to stay here again! Thank you!

Better then Expected

This place was adorable and the host was even better! I was the Maid of Honor hosting a Bachelorette party at this property and it was PERFECT! I had high hopes and they were expected. The property manager even left a little note and gift to celebrate the bride. The place was tidy and a perfect set up with lots of comfortable room to sleep. The outdoor area was perfect for backdrops for pictures and there was plenty of room for 11. I even left something behind and Elizabeth was very responsive and shipped it back to me. This place truly made the whole trip. I not only would definitely stay here again but HIGHLY recommend it.

We loved this beautiful home! The layout was great for our extended family. We loved the wonderful little details throughout the home that made it so special. 10 family and friends spent four days in Fredricksburg, this house is awesome. Very clean, excellent location, nicely furnished. Hosts were excellent and sought to make our stay as nice as possible.

The BEST property!

The owner was so kind and excellent communication from the start. The place was just as pictured- better really. Had every amenity you could need and stocked with plenty of things. The house decor is impeccable- every detail was so thoughtful through. Very cozy and welcoming. We went with a group of cousins- moms and daughters and loved all of the areas to enjoy visiting with each other. It couldn’t have been more perfect and stress free. Beds we’re comfortable, nice linens. Very clean house. I’d recommend this house a thousand times over. One of the best VRBOs I’ve ever been to.

Great place to reconnect with friends!!

We had such a great weekend! The house was so cute and Elizabeth had just decorated for fall/Halloween! All the girls were amazed by her attention to detail in every room! We spent nights eating around the table and laughing around the fire pit. Perfect location for wineries and shopping. Hosts answered texts promptly and made sure our stay was perfect. Would definitely book again!

The home was absolutely beautiful with all the decor, murals and was extremely clean. We loved the welcome notes and the bottle they set out as a little gift to toast for my sisters 30th birthday. We appreciate Elizabeth going the extra mile make her feel special while in town! Everyone in our group really enjoyed the home and their rooms. We only wish we would have been able to spend more time enjoying the amenities at the house. Elizabeth was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Would stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone that needs a place to stay close in town!
